We gathered with relatives and family for lunch. We had delicious food and beer at a sushi kaiseki restaurant 🍺.
At night, we had dinner at my parents' house. They prepared beer and sake for us, but we drank a lot during lunch, so both were in moderation.
They had prepared Takasago for us to drink. I wonder if it's my dad's favorite these days, I feel like he buys it often 🤔.
It is said to be dry, but I can feel the sweetness as well. After that comes the bitterness. You can drink it neatly.
いーじーPurchased at a department store. Highly rare.
A collaboration between Shizuoka's Fuji Takasago Sake Brewery and Motox. Sometimes you can find Motox collaboration sake at chain liquor stores.
Cold sake.
Not much aroma.
It has a soft mouthfeel with some acidity and a hint of sweetness.
It goes down the throat smoothly.
The aftertaste is rather long.
Suitable for beginners and intermediate sake drinkers.
しゃちまるんるんDaiginjo Usunigori is said to be 18% alcohol, but the finish is easy to drink, not feeling at all alcoholic. It is fruity, with a pleasant melon-like taste. But as you continue to drink it, of course it starts to get to you. As one would expect from a beer with 18% alcohol by volume. It's like a beer with a lot of alcohol.
The next day and after, it is still the same with a gentle taste in the mouth, and then suddenly, 18 degrees comes in the nose. You will feel pleasantly drunk.
Yamada-Nishiki is polished to 50% and adjusted with brewer's alcohol. It is really very easy to drink. For those who like fruity sake, this is a must-try! I would like to recommend it to all fruity lovers.

sakepowerGood honey feeling 🐝🍯.
I personally prefer this yamahai version cold 🍶🧊.
The mild mouthfeel and the slightly umami aftertaste are indeed great 👍
I wonder if it would be sweeter when warmed up: ⁉️
