Urakasumi Junmai Summer Sake
Aroma: Vinegar iso plus a tingling alcohol smell 🍌 Overall dry, as is typical of Urakasumi!
Overall dryness is typical of Urakasumi! Banana sweetness on the palate! But soon the acidity? I'm not sure if this type of sake is common in Miyagi Prefecture... 🫥? 😉 😉
I come home late at night. I really wanted to drink sake, so I went to a convenience store. It seems dry, but it has a fruity sweetness, not halfway, but well balanced. Tomorrow is my day off!
The aroma is not so strong, and it is easy to drink.
No sourness, a little acidity, moderate sweetness, and a refreshing taste.
Serve with Mentaiko Tempura and Maguro Mashita.
I feel like the strong flavor of mentaiko might be too much for the sake, but it is easy to drink, so it might be a good match for the sake...?
The sweetness of the sake is very strong after the taste of wasabi, which is nice.
I never put wasabi on my sake, but it's a good addition to the sake.
It is very easy to drink, but my impression is that it lacks impact for my taste.
I bought this sake at a fish shop because I suddenly had a craving for it when I found some swordfish sashimi from the prefecture. This sake was served to me when I was invited to my boss's house for the first time once upon a time. At the time, it seemed to be a very hard-to-find sake even in my hometown, so he gave me two bottles and said he would let me drink them. I was impressed by the rich taste and the preciousness of the sake, since I was used to drinking almost only beer. Today, Zen is sold in supermarkets as usual, and I wondered if there was a problem with overproduction. I drank it cold for the first time in a while and felt its soft flavor. It was also delicious cold.
