The aroma is only slightly sweet.
When you put it in your mouth, you feel the umami of rice, but the aftertaste is clean. I think it leaves an alcoholic taste on the tongue.
Basically, it is the type of wine that can be drunk easily with any dish, but I don't think it is my favorite.

Purchased at a local sake shop on the way back from Kiyotsukyo in Tokamachi. It seems to be a local sake.
I drank it with hiya. It has a very robust taste that overturns the image of Echigo sake as watery and easy to drink. The first taste is bitter, followed by sourness, but it quickly fades away and is an easy-drinking sake with a delicious flavor that is typical of Echigo.
It goes well with strong-flavored snacks. It tastes best when paired with side dishes such as roasted soybeans stir-fried with sweet and spicy sauce, which we bought at the same supermarket.
The side dish is said to be miso-mame, a local Tokamachi dish. It is said to be a local dish to enjoy the leftover beans from Setsubun. It goes very well with sake.
Last day of GW. From Niigata Station to Izakaya Shinkansen. A glass of "Tsururei Yukio", a famous sake from Minamiuonuma. Light and dry... a typical Niigata junmai-shu. Delicious!
