Sipped in a tokuri at a Japanese-style pub with a nice atmosphere. The color and viscosity are not recorded, and a fresh ginjo aroma stands out faintly. In the mouth, a green apple-like capsule flavor spreads with moderate sweetness and umami. Combined with the low alcohol content, it gives the impression of an easy-drinking modern sake with a refreshing and crisp mouthfeel. Rice used: 100% Ginotome, 60% polished Sake brewing time: 67 days Frequency: 13%. Production: March 2023

Sake given to me by a liquor store. The rice, Rikuu 132, is from my hometown and is famous for things like Shinmasa earth. This sake is a much more classic one and not really my favorite 😂.

[For Jibun Records] They say it is a drink often consumed by the locals. It has a lot of things in it, but it tastes cheap and reassuring. I kind of felt like an unpretentious, solid, simple person from this region.

Good morning! (^○^) This is the last sake of the collaboration event between Metropolitan Morioka New Wing's Japanese restaurant "Tsushima Tsuru" and Washio (Hachimantai City), a long-established sake brewery established in 1829. The final sake was Yui no Kaori, Junmai Ginjo. Comment from Fukuraiya Sake Brewery in Senboku, Morioka City. We aimed for such a sake. This sake is brewed with "Yunokou," a newly developed rice suitable for sake brewing in Iwate Prefecture, under the concept of "This is Iwate's top quality sake. Compared to Yamada-Nishiki, sake made with Yunokou has a "Yamato Nadeshiko" flavor and aroma that spreads slowly and quietly. Washio's "Yunokou" has a gentle aroma, a refined and light mouthfeel, and a clean taste like light snow. The name "Yui no Aroma" is derived from our wish to cherish the "Yui" of relationships with various people. We hope you will use "Yui no Kou" on occasions that connect people with each other. The name of the product is "Yui no Kou" (meaning "the fragrance of unity"). It is more mature than sen (sen), but has a very gorgeous aroma and a soft sweet and savory taste. The taste was as good as tempura. No, this was truly a wonderful event where I could truly enjoy sake and Japanese cuisine. Thanks to my wife for finding me!

Hello, Tomoyuki Kumagai. Washinoo is sold really well in Iwate. It is a local favorite sake (although the higher specs are expensive and hard to get hold of...).

Hi Kab! (≧▽≦) This is the brewery that the current Emperor of Japan said was delicious when he stayed in Hachimantai when he was the Crown Prince. It is true that the top-ranked sake is more expensive because of the time and effort required to make it.

Good morning! (^○^) This is the first time for me to post in the morning... (^_^;) This is the last part of the collaboration event between Japanese restaurant "Tsushima Tsuru" at Metropolitan Morioka New Wing and Washio (Hachimantai City), a long-established sake brewery established in 1829. Nigori sake. A sweet sake with a petit, carbonated taste. I thought it would be sticky, but it was refreshing, clear, and delicious. You can drink as much as you want. The containers used for nigorizake are very stylish. Various workshops offered a variety of porcelain, lacquerware, and ceramics, which were displayed at the entrance of Tsushima Tsuru. It is also quite a nice experience to choose from among them according to your mood at the time. From the 24th to the 26th, there will be an event called "Sake and Snack Vessels: One Hundred Choices in One Hundred Ways 2023. The event will include a tour of the brewery and a limited amount of nigori (nigori sake). Very tasty! (^○^)

Tomoyuki Kumagai, also here The white color of the nigori sake looks great against the color of the sake cups 😃It's one of the ways to enjoy sake, isn't it?

Hi Mr. Kumagai😄 Nice set of drinking vessels 😆👍I'm amused that you have such a nice event ‼️ I'm sure I'll buy something when I go there 🤣www.

Hi, Gyve! (≧▽≦) It was really a lot of vessels. Can I choose whatever I want? I thought so, but the store staff made the choice for me (laugh). Lacquer and other things get more flavor with time, you know.

Hi, mamiko! (≧▽≦) Sake cups like that are a bit unusual. There were many gorgeous vessels with gold leaf on them, and they looked gorgeous.

Hi, Masa! (≧▽≦) Just looking at so many gorgeous vessels really makes me so happy. At the store, they were only on display, but it seems that Washio-san also sells them along with the sake brewery tour.

A turnaround of the collaboration event between the Japanese restaurant "Tsushima Tsuru" at Metropolitan Morioka New Wing and the long-established sake brewery Washio (Hachimantai City), which was founded in 1829. Sake-steamed abalone grilled in soy sauce, saikyo-zuke grilled eel, and prefectural beef sirloin with miso lees. The sirloin marinated in a bed of a blend of Wasinoo's sake lees and miso is to die for! And since they all have a strong flavor, old sake should have been served, but the timing was a bit off, so I matched it with the sen I mentioned earlier. It was not a match at all. And here comes the old sake. Sake brandy (laughs). I don't think it is that hard to drink. Paired with the three strong flavors, it's just as good! It seems to have been aged in a warehouse at 18 breweries since 2004 (Heisei 16). I tried to find a picture of the brand name, but could not find it. It seems that it is not so common. It was delicious! (^○^)

Good evening! (^○^) I participated in a collaboration event between Japanese cuisine "Tsushima Tsuru" at Metropolitan Morioka New Wing and a long-established sake brewery, Washio (Hachimantai City), which was founded in 1829. Continuing on, the best of Washio, Juan (Sen) Fukuroiya Sake Brewery commented. True to its name, "the best of the best with all the luxuries," this junmai daiginjo is the pinnacle of Washio, brewed with Yamada-Nishiki polished to 35%. It is a top-quality sake born from the brewer's persistence and extravagant sake brewing. The name says it all. It was served in a wine glass. The aroma was very sweet. Take a sip. Oh, rich sweetness and flavor. It tastes just like the aroma. The description says it has a clean, refreshing taste, but I want to say, "No, no, it's rich, isn't it? I want to say, "No, no, it's rich, isn't it? The fugu sashimi and boiled octopus were completely overpowered by the sake, so I went with the three types that came first. When paired with the steamed sea bream with turnip, the umami was a double delight. By the way, the white thing on the bottom left and top right of the sashimi is "Sakekasu Shio," a combination of Eagle Tail Sakekasu and salt! No, this goes well with the light, light sashimi. The skin of fugu (blowfish) is not so good, but this one has an excellent plumpness. It was very delicious!

Hi mamiko! This sake lees salt is homemade by a chef. It is not salty at all, but really mild, and when you put a little on white fish sashimi and sip sake, it spreads the flavor and is great!

Good evening! (^○^) We have participated in a collaboration event between Japanese cuisine "Tsushima Tsuru" at Metropolitan Morioka New Wing and a long-established sake brewery, Washio (Hachimantai City), founded in 1829. Next up was Rikuu 132 Wooden Oke Brewing. Taken from the comments of Fukuroiya Sake Brewery in Senboku, Morioka City. Rikuu 132" was created in 1921 by crossing "Kame-no-o" and "Aikoku". Kenji Miyazawa encouraged farmers to grow this rice as it was resistant to cold damage and had good taste, and it is also known as the rice associated with Kenji as it appears in his works. The rice, the people, and the brewery are all locally produced. Kenji's romance and passion were transmitted to the farmers, the brewers, and the brewery, and the natural flavor of the rice is alive and well in this junmai-shu with a strong, deep flavor. It can be served cold or hot. The brightness and sharpness of the flavor are especially outstanding when served lukewarm. We recommend it to the sophisticated sake connoisseur who changes the way he drinks sake according to the season and the accompaniments. The name of the bottle is "Sake for the sophisticated sake connoisseur". (^_^;) When served cold, it does not have the woody flavor of a sake brewed in wooden vats. It's very light and refreshing. When heated, the acidity comes out with a bang! and the aroma of the wooden vat stands out. The sweetness also increases. Match it with the extract of asari. Oh, it's so delicious! Delicious!

Good evening! (^○^) It was warm over the weekend, but now it is cold again here. This difference in temperature is not good for the body. Recently, the topic has shifted from Wuhan pneumonia to influenza. We should be careful. Last Friday, there was a collaboration event with "Washio," a sake brewery in Hachimantai City, at the Japanese restaurant "Tsushima Tsuru" in the Metropolitan Morioka New Wing. My wife found it and I attended, thinking it might be a bit plain.... No, don't underestimate it! It was a great event! I started with Kurowashi, cold. It smells like yogurt. Refreshing acidity. Slightly woody flavor. It says to pair it with "Yarikai Sake-Tsurebi Dressed with Dongo Gizzard Liver Miso", so that's what I did. It was delicious. The flavor of the liver spreads out, and it's soooo good! After this, the same brand of sake is served hot. When the Kurowashi is heated up, it softens the gusto of the sake and mellows it out. It becomes mellow and this is OK! Delicious! (^○^)

The wild label on the white eagle is cool, but it is actually a delicate and aromatic product ♡How do you describe this kind of thing? Can someone please tell me how to describe it 😂It's like the refined aroma and taste flow into the air like a thin thread? Is it like flowing gracefully in the sky with the wind without a sound of flapping wings? I don't know anymore! It was just definitely delicious 🥹🥹🥹🥹.
