I imagined it to be a barrel sake, but it smells a little of wood. It is a delicious sake with a firm umami sweetness and a little acidity that gives it a sharp taste.
We enjoyed it with grilled chicken wings, bacon and vegetable soup, tomato salad, and boiled rice. It is an easy-drinking sake with a strong umami flavor. We finished it quite quickly.
The second glass is Yamamoto, which I have not had for a long time.
Slightly sweet and fruity, this is another one that would be good as a food sake: 🙆♂️
It is very stable, as expected of Yamamoto 👏👏👏.
