Yamamoto Tensugi 山本天杉
I was looking at the menu and saw that it was from Akita, so I ordered it. The modern sake is definitely not Akita! The first impression is that it tastes strangely traditional, but as you go back, it becomes more modern. It feels like a well-made sake. The finish is high.
Akita Sake
Yamamoto Dosara Nama
This is a draft version of "Dodara", a standard dry sake. It was purchased at Sugakyu Sake Shop in Akita City. I thought it was only available in Akita, but was a little disappointed to see it recently sold in Ibaraki as well.
When I give sake as a gift, I often give it to people who like dry sake. Come to think of it, I have given it to people, but I realized that I had never drunk it myself, so I tried it.
When I put it in my mouth, it went from a refreshing sweetness that is typical of Yamamoto to a booming dryness. It is refreshing when paired with oily food. It is more refreshing than "Bakuren," even though they are the same dry sake, perhaps due to the fact that it is a draft.
Degree of liking 8/10
