The popular Kitajima summer spin-off "Taco's Blue" has undergone a full model change without changing its "refreshing dry summer sake! has been fully remodeled without changing its "refreshing dry summer sake!
The look and name have evolved as well! Taco Blue TACO BLUUUE"!
The appearance has a big impact! Inside is a genuine dry junmai ginjo-shu with a fruity aroma reminiscent of green apples and a good acidity!
The fruity aroma is reminiscent of green apples, with a good acidity and a refreshingly clear mouthfeel.
With an alkalinity of 15°, it is easy to drink, and its crisp, dry and refreshing taste makes it a perfect bottle for this time of year!
As the label on the back says, it opens at once with a flourish. It may be the most spectacular of all Kitajima's. It is super delicious from the first glass. I'm glad I got a bottle.
Summer sake continues. This is Kitajima's summer sake, Aorashi.
As the name suggests, this sake is refreshing and dry, just like Kitajima. It has just the right amount of acidity and is not too light, making it a summer sake that is very drinkable.
2018BY in warmer temperature. The color is a light yellow.
The taste is basically dry, with a sake degree of +11 even when heated, but with a hint of maturity and a sharpness accompanied by the acidity of the sake's nama yeast.
Fresh and fruity
The sweetness is not that strong, and it has a dry impression.
It has a good amount of schwarziness.
Citrusy?
The astringent aftertaste closes the mouth and makes it sharp.
Familiar in my repertoire
Last time it was a raw sake with the same specs
This time, it is labeled "raw" but
but there is no description of "raw",
and the alcohol content has been lowered by one degree.
Still very smooth on the palate.
Mellow flavor with a clean aftertaste.
It is very drinkable, yet
clean and dry
