🐸.
My surname is a common one, so there are 4 people in my department 😆 The 4th person is a recent hire and I've had almost no conversation with him, so I went out for a drink with 3 old-timers with the same surname and a senior who drinks a lot. Well, it was a normal banquet 😆 I've been going to UMAMI all the time lately. The drinks and food are delicious. I have also been to the bar side of UMAMI, which I haven't uploaded yet.
We were told we could choose whatever we wanted, so we chose at random. 100 kinds of drinks are available, so I thought it would be better to choose "Tohoku this time" or "Kanto and Koshinetsu next time".
We drank a lot and talked a lot for 3 hours. I didn't put a picture of people in the picture, so we drank 15 kinds (15 gou) in total. 3.75 gou per person was very drunk for that. I was so drunk for 3.75 gou of wine per person. I was so sleepy on the subway and in the cab that I was wondering how I made it back home.
Is that too much? 😅
The representative sake was a frog 🐸 (you have to click on the picture to see it, sorry), which had a strong visual impact. It says heated, but I drank it cold. It's Kitajima, so it's not sweet. It was very refreshing to drink while eating.
My favorite Kitajima, I was curious about the orange label I saw for the first time and took it home.
It is rich, sweet and umami, with the greenish flavor of the Yamada-Nishiki grain. It is very tasty with a gradually dry aftertaste. It is best when paired with autumn flavors and nabe dishes.
Firmly nigori sake
No schwarziness
It's like amazake without the sweetness.
Mild in the mouth, but not sweet, so it is refreshing.
Serve with white fish sashimi
The fishy smell is not noticeable and it tastes great!
Its modest sweetness and fine flavor spread across the palate.
The balance of the acidity and bitterness that follows is exquisite, and the aroma that escapes through the nose is also very good.

Easy to drink, light in the mouth and goes well with meals. It is good to keep the sake level down until the sugar is gone! Shikake: Made with Tamakae rice!
Shiga Local Sake Festival in Otsu 2025⑬
Kitajima Sake Brewery, Kitajima booth.
Kitajima, which I don't drink much because I can always buy it.
White frogger - Sake additive-free, pure nigori, junmai-shu.
Warmed up. Slightly sharp, slightly dry, slightly spicy.
Sake made with acid base and sweet sake yeast.
The whole thing is very unique and interesting. It's not yogurt, it's sweet and sour, and the sourness is stronger than the sweetness.
◉Salt milk liquor
A liqueur. It's very sweet, but with a strong cheese flavor. It is also interesting.
NATURAL2 6BY/2024 Sake Mother-less, pure yeast, Junmai Kiramizuki, Hiire.
This is the first time I have seen this label. The main body of this one is sweet and sour with more sweetness than acidity. Slightly modern.
Kitajima Sake Brewery is one of the larger breweries in Shiga and produces a lot of sake.
Hi Nemuchi, ☀️
I drank this salted miruku sake before 😚 It was quite thick, sweet and salty, like a cheesecake salted caramel, a strange dessert-like taste 🤭.
Good evening, Kotaro-san. 🌜️ Salted miruku sake is very unique and interesting 😊I could not help but say "sweet" when I drank it 😆I could taste the cheese flavor when I tasted it thoroughly! I could taste the cheese flavor when I tasted it thoroughly 🤣It's a very dessert-like sake! 🤣It is a very dessert-like sake!
Hello, Nemuchi 😃
We are very much Kitajima-san! But I haven't had all of the ones you mentioned 😅I feel like I've learned a new side of Kitajima-san 🤗.
Hi Jay & Nobby 😃Hello 😃Kitajima-san, our guess, has a large variety of different types 😊The brewery is large and the production is one of the largest in Shiga 😉 We are trying to make something a little different, so we hope this will be helpful 😆.
