Echigo-Tsurukame's Koshiichi, which I had never heard of before, but when I found out it was Star Wars, I bought it at a liquor store near there on my way home from a client's office 😆.
They had two bottles for sale, Vader (Darth Vader) and A New Hope (Episode 4) and maybe the opposite. I wanted both, but it was tough to carry two bottles home from work, so I went with Vader this time 😬.
(Vader is deep, heavy and majestic, while A New Hope is fresh and crisp.)
It looks like Darth Vader? I'm not sure 🌑.
Pouring it out of the jet black bottle and drinking it, it's surprisingly fresh💦?
A little fruity?
A little sour, a little acidic?
Low alcohol, maybe easy to drink?
On the second day, though, it tastes even better 😋 A little more sweet? Tastes good with just the right amount of acidity 😋.
I thought it would be more like the dark side 👿? I thought it would be more dark side 👿, but I guess it's still more Anakin? (Sorry if you don't know Star Wars)
But still, I want to explore the world of this series a little more 😜.
I was wondering if you have any Darth Vader stuff at home? I looked for one, but all I could find was a cap for the airing place on my bike!

The second sake was Echigo Tsurukame.
It has a strong image of being made with wine yeast, but this one is a rather classic sake with a delicious rice flavor 🍶.

The aroma has the sweetness and acidity of green apple and the umami of rice.
On the palate, the gas hits the mouth and smoothly fills the mouth with sweetness and acidity, the low alcohol passes through the nose, and bitterness and umami linger in the aftertaste.
There is no particular texture on the tongue.

It is a typical Niigata sake, light and dry. I received a set of five bottles of Niigata sake from a relative in Nagaoka. I enjoyed it with my own stuffed peppers!

The other day, I attended a local beer festival in Niigata, and this is the beer I bought at Niigata station on my way home. It's been a long time since I've had Tsurukame.
Contrary to my expectation, it has a lot of sweetness and umami derived from rice. It seems to be low alcohol at 10%, but the voluptuousness doesn't make it seem so low. I thought it was interesting, but it ran out before I could finish it, because it was in cans.

What is wine yeast brewing...? I took a sip and thought "what's a wine yeast brewed sake?
Wow, this is so good!
It has a sweetness that is typical of sake, but it also has some acidity, but it's refreshing and pleasant to the palate.
The alcohol content is low at 12 degrees, so you can't help but drink too much.
Recommended for women!
