Toyokuni Shuzo is known for its heated rivalry with "Hirotogawa" Matsuzaki Shuzo, also from Fukushima. This time it's an unfiltered, unpasteurized sake from Ippo Mi. This year's new sake 🍶✨ Finally got it! Due to the "Arabashiri" drama I thought it would be too late, I was relieved to get it 😌. I will drink it cold. The color is clear with a slight greenish tinge. The first aroma is of juicy green apples. Juicy green apple aroma. Slightly foamed and slightly thickened on the palate, giving the impression of lightness. From the freshness of green apples, there is a soft, orange-like fruity flavor with a creamy, buttery, candy-like richness. It finishes with a slight astringency. The taste has a variety of elements, from a lightness that flows smoothly to a core of strength. Then, on the fifth day. A melon-like juiciness is added, and the taste has a mild sweetness. Drink it over time, The sweetness of the honey seems to become more intense with each passing day. And when heated up, the sweetness is reduced and the umami is more pronounced.
