The long-awaited Matsu Midori summer sake. Oh, I'm so excited! The aroma. The rice is fruity. It's so good! Sweet, but not too sweet. What a mystery! It's so beautiful, Matsumidori. This is too delicious Junmai Daiginjo, regardless of the season. It's so good that it brings tears to my eyes. Matsuda, which is in Kanagawa Prefecture, has a countryside atmosphere with good water. The scenic beauty of the area, which reminds me of my hometown of Aizu, and the goodness of the people who make it, are the reasons for this superlative taste. I've fallen in love with it, and I've lost.

South of concept workers selection. It's been a long time since I've had a "concept workers selection" or "Minami". I saw the label on a liquor store's Instagram and assumed it was a summer sake, so I went to buy it. It is called "Karakuchi," but it has a strong sweetness at the attack, and then it starts to become sharp, just like in the south. However, I miscalculated that it was a one-sho bottle. I went to the liquor store thinking it would be a Yongo bottle of Minami and the repeat Matsumidori or Zanzou, so I was surprised to find it in a 1-sho bottle.

Pink summer yago. The liquor store went out of their way to stock it for me. They were only planning to stock the low alcohol 13 series. When I asked if they were planning to stock the original sake, they placed an order. They ordered it for us. Thank goodness. The aroma is lactic acid bacteria type. The aroma is lactobacillus type, and the sweetness is moderate, but the flavor of the rice is well expressed. Even though the label is catchy, Izumihashi is difficult to describe because they make sake with a traditional flavor by using the traditional sake brewing method.

Repeat purchase of Zanso Horai Queen. stable taste. It's a masterpiece. I am establishing my own stance. Sake from Zanzo-Hourai, Matsumidori, Sagaminada, and Izumihashi, which are easy to obtain for those living in Tokyo. Sake from my hometown of Aizu in Fukushima, which is inexpensive to order. Will the sake we have in stock, such as Jyushiyo Gin-Sen and Shinmasa Blaxcat, exceed the level of satisfaction we get from drinking sake from this area? Not the taste, but the satisfaction. It's absurd for an amateur, just before I became an alcoholic, to say that the taste is superior or inferior. And it's a wild thing to do. The process of getting the sake, the snacks that are usually available at home, and the satisfaction that can be obtained by drinking the sake with them without any pretense. We pursue sake with a high level of satisfaction. I am building a solid relationship with liquor stores that deal in such alcohol. Is that my way of life? So-called "premier sake" is for luxury sake on a fine day...right? I am ashamed of myself for not being able to make a quick cut. I certainly have the desire to try premium sake and other popular sake, but what about the satisfaction? But what about the satisfaction I get? I can taste the best sake of each season, each time, and it satisfies my body and soul. What's not this? The chase.

Izumihashi's summer sake, Natsuyago MOMO13, is already available. I think the sake shop owner told me that the rice used to make this sake is called "Jinriki"... I found out that it is called MOMO because the noge of the rice called "Jinriki" is pink in color. The sake is a beautiful yellow color. The aroma is lactobacillus type. It has a deep flavor because it is a blend of aged sake, and it also has a lightness that is typical of low-alcohol sake. It has a strong acidity, perfect for early summer.

It was getting hot, so I stopped by the liquor store thinking I'd have a lemon sour with Kinmiya and Tomomasu, and I bought a bottle of Kangiku without even thinking about it. The aroma is fresh and fizzy. It is not very fruity, but I feel it is a good example of a modern production of sake with a strong effervescence and a bit of fruity flavor. I ended up buying some Kinmiya as well. I have no regrets.

Junmai Ginjo, Yamadanishiki from Sagaminada. The last Miyamanishiki was not a good match, but how about this one? When the bottle is opened, the fresh ginjo aroma is quite promising. It has a robust and solid flavor typical of Sagaminada - full of umami and sweetness - and a touch of austerity... It's like Sagaminada of Sagaminada~! I am not sure what to think.
