It reminds me of peach or melon. On the palate, it has a mild melon🍈 flavor. It has a sour aftertaste and is well rounded. It is a modern sake in the mellow umakuchi style. After a series of light sake, it may have seemed more mellow 😆.

For a Miyamanishiki sake, the sweetness is weak, and the taste is fresh and light.

I took a weekday off and went to Kawagoe for the first time this year. I stopped by the usual sake tasting place in Koedo-Kura-ri and drank three kinds of sake. Teisho's newest sake, Junmai Nama-zake, was dark and fresh. Saitama Pose's was more muscatel and modern as described. Koshu Umebayashi's freshly squeezed junmai namaishu is rich and mellow, rough in a good way. I bought a 300 ml bottle because I felt it had potential that could not be fully appreciated only at this tasting corner, although it had a recommendation mark for lukewarm or hot sake. I would like to try it at home.

At the end of the year, I went out to drink and had free time for dinner solo. Went to Kawagoe. I had a new sake from Saitama Prefecture at the tasting corner in Koedo-Kura-ri. For 500 yen, you can get 3 coins and taste 3 kinds of sake. Rikishi, Seiun, and Kikusen. We enjoyed the freshness of each new sake👍.

I took a weekday off and went to Kawagoe again this week. Koedo Kurasato is the site of the former Kagamiyama sake brewery. After tasting Koedo, Tenranzan, and Toyoake at Showagura, a sake tasting place, we went to Meiji Kura, a souvenir shop. There is a Kagamiyama store and a paid tasting corner. I am a fan of Kagamiyama, but this was my first tasting here, and I decided to try a Daiginjo of Yamadanishiki, which I had never had before. This daiginjo has a nice aroma and a dry sharp taste. There was a barrel of sake on sale, so I bought it. I would like to complete as many of my favorite sake brewery Kagamiyama's sake that I have never had before. I am looking forward to it.

The first landing in Saitama Prefecture (´・ω・`;) It's called nothing, da Saitama, or Seibu Dome Matsuzaka money and self-destructing, hot and humid, or Sho de Saitama. However, the sake is wonderful and I was able to find not only Kamikame, but also Nihonbashi, a wonderful sake, which doubled my desire to go there! The second sake tasting in Koedo Kurari is in Nihonbashi. This sake is from a brewery in Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture. Shinsho-san recently reviewed a sake from this brewery, and we were curious about it. The types are different, but this is a standard honjozo First, at room temperature, a classic sake with acidity. Next, heated in a hot water bath. The flavor expands. This sake is loved by the locals in Gyoda City. This kind of classical sake, with its standard production, has a quality that is hard to find. The second and third images show "Music Cafe Amanda" where we had Kashmir curry for lunch. The restaurants and eateries around the "Toki no Kane" and "Kura-zukuri no Machi" area were crowded from 11:00 a.m. onwards 😅. Amanda is located a bit far away from the restaurant and is a true hideout. The pleasantly soft sound of analog records playing from the speakers, which I believe were made by the owner 😊. They don't have sake, but they do have beer and wine. The Kashmiri curry was also delicious 🍛.

Today is my solo, free time. I wasn't sure where to go, but I wandered over to Kawagoe. From Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine, I went to a liquor store (Masuya Shuzuya) on the street where the bell of time tolls, and got takeout CoEd draft beer. It is quite crowded. There is also a Japanese style Starbucks near the bell of time. After lunch, we arrived at our usual Koedo Kurazato sake tasting place. It is a facility like Saitama Prefecture's version of Niigata's Ponshukan. It is like a Saitama Prefecture version of Niigata's Ponshukan. The price is 500 yen and 3 coins. We started with the "best" Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake from Tenjin. Soft and fruity.

I went to Kawagoe on a weekday holiday. Shopping for sake. First, we went to Matsuzaki's sake shop. Then, it expands to the other side of the station, and Koedo Kurari. There is a sake corner like the Saitama version of Niigata's Ponshukan. We got several kinds of Saitama sake. Lunch at the restaurant, today's lunch is Ankou-nabe, and I added Kawagoe's colander tofu to it because I thought it was not so related to Saitama. New sake of Kagamiyama. We drank it last season, but the aroma is fresh and floral. At the base is the flavor of rice. It has a sharpness, so it is not dull. After all, Kagamiyama is very good. The second drink was Kagamiyama Junmai-no-shikashizake mizumashi. We asked for a warmed-up version, but it's a delicious warmed-up sake that has a creamy taste and a nice acidity, just like the sake principle. The quality of this sake goes well with fermented snacks such as cheese and other snacks, and it goes perfectly with grilled salmon baked with sake lees from Kagamiyama. The sake lees brings out the sweetness of the salmon and the sake lees brings out the flavor of the salmon. A good lunchtime drink ☺️Game
