Chichi-san from Fukuoka went to Kurari where you can drink coins of Saitama sake in Kawagoe First visit 😅 even though I'm a local! 4 coins for 500 yen 🪙. First of all, it's Shinkame, the royal road of Saitama. They have chirori and you can drink hot sake. I guess it's a date spot with a lot of young people 😅. Well, it's ok😅.

I went to Kawagoe on a weekday holiday. Shopping for sake. First, we went to Matsuzaki's sake shop. Then, it expands to the other side of the station, and Koedo Kurari. There is a sake corner like the Saitama version of Niigata's Ponshukan. We got several kinds of Saitama sake. Lunch at the restaurant, today's lunch is Ankou-nabe, and I added Kawagoe's colander tofu to it because I thought it was not so related to Saitama. New sake of Kagamiyama. We drank it last season, but the aroma is fresh and floral. At the base is the flavor of rice. It has a sharpness, so it is not dull. After all, Kagamiyama is very good. I don't think it will become a premier sake, but I think it is a good sake to be known by sake fans as a good sake. Please visit us when you stroll in Koedo Kawagoe👍.

The second drink was Kagamiyama Junmai-no-shikashizake mizumashi. We asked for a warmed-up version, but it's a delicious warmed-up sake that has a creamy taste and a nice acidity, just like the sake principle. The quality of this sake goes well with fermented snacks such as cheese and other snacks, and it goes perfectly with grilled salmon baked with sake lees from Kagamiyama. The sake lees brings out the sweetness of the salmon and the sake lees brings out the flavor of the salmon. A good lunchtime drink ☺️Game
