As a resident of Chiba Prefecture, I was curious about this Chiba sake!
The signboard of a nearby yakitori restaurant was co-sponsored by Ume Ichirin, and although I had been aware of this sake for a long time, I had never had a chance to meet it due to distribution reasons!
The sake I got this time is a limited brand of Ume-Ichirin's distributor, and is called "Dancing" Odori.
It is a daiginjo, but it contains brewer's alcohol, so it has a technical feel to it.
The taste is light. The mouthfeel, the aroma, the throat, and the aftertaste were all very refreshing.
It was smooth and refreshing, with a faint scent of a single plum blossom before fading away.
It was the first step for me to try Chiba Prefecture's sake.
