Another gift from my brother-in-law. Lately, I've been drinking sake only through my brother-in-law. It's been a while since I've had sake. Maybe it's because it hasn't been chilled very long, but it's delicious. Today is the eve of the local festival. The town was already bustling with people.

This sake was given to me by my brother-in-law. It has a strong sake aroma, a slight sweetness, and a refreshing acidity in the aftertaste. The sake alone is a bit harsh, but it was a perfect match with the kingfish liver salad (not pictured). It also goes well with takoyaki (octopus dumplings).

When restaurants were suffering from the Corona disaster, my favorite liquor store always had it, but now there is not even a place for Shinsei anymore. It was my first time to drink Flax Cat, but it had a strong acidity and a unique flavor. It was my first Shinsei in a long time, but it was not for me.

Yamada Nishiki from Yoshikawa A gift from my brother-in-law. It was his first Nabeshima. I was told to be careful when opening the bottle, but it wasn't that soggy.
