Hakutsuru in Hachinohe.
Casually, 40% polished.
Not particularly sharp, but slightly soft and refreshing without being heavy.
Serve with salted sea squirt.
The salted sea squirt is good, but the plain sea squirt we had in Hachinohe the other day was fresh and tasty 😊.
Quite fruity, hint of pineapple🍍.
A week ago at this time, I was starting from "Banya" and enjoying the night life in Hachinohe... One week goes by so fast, doesn't it?
I ate a lot of sushi at the Hachishoku Center,
I didn't buy any sake, snacks, or souvenirs,
At a liquor store in front of Hachinohe Station, this newspaper-wrapped sake was being promoted as "the best souvenir ❗️".
Hi Jay & Nobby😊.
It was more fruity🍍 and sweeter than expected👍
In the summer, we often have crispy vegetables.
Last night it was deep fried soaked eggplant 🍆 and I want to deep fry veggies today too.
Hello Mr. Hiraccio 🍶.
I love the rich flavor and acidity of the newspaper Hakutsuru and was looking forward to the new sake, but I see that it is made in July. I was wondering if it is only made in July. I thought it was only for winter since it was sold out at a liquor store in Hachinohe.
Good evening, Mr. Matsuchiyo 😊.
This newspaper Hakutsuru is rich and delicious👍
Pineapple 🍍 flavor? And it made me think of Hana-yori in Saitama, Japan.
I stopped by on my way home from work for the first time in a while, tasted it, and bought it after being told it was not widely available in Fukuoka.
It is easy to drink with an apple-like aroma and refreshing acidity.
It is sweet, so it goes well with sweet dishes.
We had it with sweet and spicy Nanban Katsu, Orange Chocolat dessert cheese, and Hakata Street Monkfish. ☺️
Rice used: Aomori Prefecture sake brewing rice, Hana-Sayaka, etc.

I went to a nearby bar in the rain because they were holding an Aomori sake fair.
The first drink was a Hakutsuru.
The first aroma was a mild ginjo aroma.
In the mouth, refreshing acidity and the richness and umami of the rice spread out.
It is not as good as the Junmai Ginjo-Hachizuru from the newspaper I drank before, but it is a rich, umakuchi type sake.
It was delicious 🍶.
This will be the first souvenir of my trip to Aomori.
Last month, I drank a delicious Hakutsuru at a nearby izakaya that sells Aomori, and secured it there.
I drank it again at home.
The first aroma is fruity, and when you put it in your mouth, you can feel the sourness, sweetness, and richness.
It is difficult to explain this sourness, sweetness, and richness, but it has a richness and umami like the sweet and sour sauce in Ousho's Tenshinhan (fried rice) 🍛 (sorry for the weird analogy).
But it's sharp and goes well with strong dishes 🍶.
If you can find a bar in Aomori that sells Hachinohe, they probably have it on tap, so please try it 🐣.
This is my first time drinking Hakutsuru. The aroma is fruity, the acidity is effective, and the umami is strong.
I wonder if it can be classified as a mellow umakuchi.
It was quite tasty.
