I wondered if the mouth-opening drink was haunted? I went to see. As it turns out, it quickly settles down from peach/melon type fruity. There is a slight gassy feeling, but it is basically mellow. It is easy to drink, with no unpleasant taste. It is a good sake. I think I can get to a moderate distance from it without drinking too much.
Manufactured in January 2025. We were sent this freshly squeezed sake from Echizen-cho, Fukui Prefecture, just in time for the New Year. It has a wonderful sweetness like amazake with a slight effervescence. We were thrilled by the fresh taste, the origin of sake!

Today I opened a bottle of Asukai, which I bought at Yamajin on my way back from visiting Narita-san in Fukui Prefecture on New Year's Day 😀.
The aroma is mild🤔In the mouth, it has a light but full flavor, acidity and a slight astringent taste😊It is a delicious sake with a refreshing taste that can be enjoyed in small gulps 😋.

My partner loves Narita-san and we go there every year 😊It has become a rule to drop by a liquor store on the way home 😚But this year, the Sakai branch of Liquor World Hana was gone 😭.
P.S. Maecin, Liquor World Hana Sakai has moved to a new location 3 kilometers south (about 5 minutes by car) from the former store💦.
It has more cheese, frozen foods and other groceries (snacks) than the old store 😁.

This is the best time of year. I went to my favorite restaurant and asked for the best sake for this time of year, at room temperature.
I immediately bought it because it is a wide range of sake that can be served at room temperature or warmed up 😊.
The color is golden, and at room temperature it tastes like alcohol, which is a good thing about this sake. When heated up, it tastes even better 😋.
It may be a very different taste, but I like it 😊.
