Goho Takara drinking comparison, the second bottle is a raw sake made from the original sake brewing process.
Rice is Ginpu
Rice polishing ratio is 65%, but I got the impression that it is a fairly clear sake.
I think the Junmai Daiginjo had more sweetness, but I preferred the more robust umami of the Junmai Daiginjo.
I was looking at the fridge and was excited to see a Goho that I had never seen in the Kansai region. I was so excited that I asked if I could try two different kinds of sake!
I started with a bottle of Comet with a 35% rice polishing ratio.
This was freshly opened😊.
A beautiful, slightly refreshing, fruity and sweet sake 😋.
I thought it would cost around 5,000 yen, but it was 2,980 yen.
I see you read "Goho"..!
Gorgeous fruity aroma! When you put it in your mouth, it doesn't smell that bad, but has a slight umami flavor. There is a lingering aftertaste, but it is beautifully subtracted.
I bought a bottle on my way back from climbing a mountain in Hakodate. It is a brand that is hard to find in the Kanto area, and it is a new sake brewery, having been established in 2020. Despite its modern label, it tastes more like a classic sake, with a strong flavor of rice.
