ginjo aroma
Mellow and fruity
Slightly sweet with a bitter aftertaste
Purchased at a brewery near Iwakisan Shrine
Delicious!
Souvenir of Aomori trip (3)
Degree of liking:★★★★☆
I opened a bottle of Dorai, which I had purchased on a trip to Aomori and had been saving, as it was the big day. Stable aroma and moist and easy to drink. For some reason, I paired it with shabu-shabu, but it was delicious without any discomfort at all. Have a Happy New Year!
Limited Oorigara-mi (limited edition) from the brewery of To Kurai.
I drank this sake in early December, but it will be my last post for this year because I'm going to a year-end party now lol.
The first aroma is slightly cool and sweet.
In the mouth, there is a refreshing acidity with a slight sweetness.
The bitter bitterness of nigori gives it a refreshing finish.
It is a little drier than the super-harsh Morai we had before because of the bitter bitterness from the nigori (bitter taste).
It was delicious 🍶✨️
Happy New Year everyone!
Good evening, Matsuchiyo-san!
I hope you enjoy the year-end party 🎵.
Thank you so much for your support this year 🤗
I hope you have a happy new year 🤗.
Happy New Year Kotaro-san 🌞!
I've been drinking a lot of good sake since the beginning of the New Year 😊.
I look forward to working with you again this year 🙇.
100% "Hanafukuyuki" grown in Aomori Prefecture is used. It has a pleasant, mild aroma and a full rice flavor. It is a gem with a slightly dry and dry taste!
It is a beautiful sake without being flashy, and it seems to go well cold or even warmed up.
I bought a set of assorted Aomori zodiac labels.
Maybe this brand is new to me.
Sweet, but surprisingly sharp.
Sweetness and bitterness, passing through easily.
I'm looking forward to two more bottles in the Aomori Zodiac series!
Here are some more sake from the "SENDAI Sake Fest!" hosted by Sake no Kawashima on May 25th.
There was also a wide variety of food at the event, including "Sujiko Natto" which Dazai loved 🤤!
It goes well with Aomori's sharp sake!
It was a two-hour event, but some breweries adopted a generous system (hand-drinking).
Here are some more sake from the "SENDAI Sake Fest!" hosted by Sake no Kawashima on May 25th.
The event was held in two parts, and although the venue was indoors, there were banners from each brewery ✨.
We had a chance to talk with Rokka Sake Brewery about "Jyobari" at length 🙂.
Of course, the to-rui was delicious 😋!
It's been a while since I last wrote to you.
I hope you are enjoying your drunken life during this time of the year when you can drink good sake with a special feeling during the Christmas and New Year's holidays.
I've been slacking off on my check-ins due to some phone problems and not being able to keep up with the pace of my drinking (lol), but I'm still immersed in the sake swamp 🍶.
I'm going to keep on drinking and having fun next year ✨.
So over the next 3-4 days, I'll be doing a minimum amount of cursory CI's at a fairly steady pace, but please bear with me 🙇🙇🙇🙇🙇🙇🙇.
At this stage, the last CI on May 22, 2024 is the last one, which is 273 species and 36/47 prefectures since I started Sake no Wawa in June 2024... I'm half looking forward and half scared to see how much it will be when all the sake I have tasted in the last 7 months are registered 🫨....
Well...
I'm sorry for the long preamble, but the first sake to be registered again is the one I got at the SENDAI Sake Fest held on May 25th.
This is a sake tasting event inviting sake breweries from all over Japan who do business with Sake no Kawashima 😄.
It was a great event where you could not only taste delicious sake and snacks, but also interact directly with the brewers ✨.
Hello, Heberekeshigin-san!
Welcome back 🎵
I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of sake you were drinking 😍
SENDAI SAKE FEST"...so many sake breweries are coming to the festival 🤗.
Hello ma-ki-, I'm here & I'm back😊.
There are so many fascinating sake events that no matter how many bodies I have, it's not enough 🥹I want to alter 🥹.
Thank you so much for enjoying watching + commenting ✨.
It's not too dry, but it's a very strong, robust and drinkable sake.
Although it is called "super dry", in a good sense, it is not as dry as the name suggests and can be enjoyed cold or hot ♫
