The aroma of melon is faint at first, but the concentration of the aroma is similar to that of Junmai Ginjo. This one is more gentle at the entrance, and I think I like it better.
(Continued from last time) The last sake I bought on this visit to Ryuriki was Sesshikoyama. When opened, this excellent sake has a fruity aroma, mellowness, strength, and sweetness at the same time. It was a bottle that I wanted to adore forever in the aftertaste. It went well with any snacks such as pork gingerbread 🐷 crab🦀 cream croquettes and spicy cucumber🥒. ☺️
I bought it at a local liquor store because it was recommended by the clerk.
I had never had much Aizan sake, but it is quite gorgeous and punchy. The sweetness of the aroma lured me in, but the aftertaste was firm. It is a drinker's curse.
