Junmai Daiginjo JR East SL Galaxy ICHI-GO-CAN
Purchased at Morioka station. I didn't expect much from a cup of sake, but it was unexpectedly good!
It was a bit dry with a touch of sweetness, but it was refreshing and easy to drink!
Asabiraki Jukurei
Asabiraki, which is derived from the word "Asabiraki" in the Manyoshu, symbolizing the opening of a new era.
Nanbu Touji, Mr. Masahiko Fujio, is known for his high level of skill, having received the "Contemporary Master Craftsman" award in 2005 and the "Medal with Yellow Ribbon" in 2008.
JUKUREI is a special junmai sake produced by Asakai, a sake brewery in Iwate Prefecture. It is made from 100% Iwate-grown "Ginotome" grapes, and is characterized by its gentle ginjo aroma and balanced acidity. With its fruity aroma and clean taste, it can be enjoyed cold or warmed. It is also a good match with meals, and goes well with Western cuisine.
Newly brewed "Asakai" sake received as a New Year's gift. The first bottle of Junmai Nama-zake was opened.
When the bottle is opened, it has a fresh aroma. The sake has a good balance of umami and sweetness, and is packed with even more flavor. The alcohol content is 18% because it is a pure sake, but you will not get tired of drinking it and the sake will go down a treat.
It is a versatile sake that can be served with all kinds of food, both Japanese and Western. Delicious: ❗️
Earthy and rich nose. Clear with a slightly amber hue. The bottle said it was a rich style and it didn’t disappoint. Starts very smooth and light. Umami richness builds in your mouth and peaks right before the finish. I feel like it had a hint of mushroom. I really liked this one.
