Purchased by my father (mail order from Nishikiya Sake Shop in Niigata City)
It has a full flavor of rice, but it is very easy to drink with a sharp taste.
It may be similar to Kubota in image.
Although it is a honjozo, it does not have much of a brewer's alcohol taste, making it ideal for drinking.
It is a good match for seafood as it turns into a mellow flavor when paired with sashimi (red meat).
Takachidai's "Koryu" is the most powerful, tasty, and inexpensive sake, and this one has the surprising spec of being a Nakadori directly pumped muroka nama sake. The label must have been made of gold. How does it taste?
It tastes extremely fruity, with a tropical flavor of mango and pineapple. It's a little tangy, and although you don't feel the alcohol at all, it's actually 18% alcohol. I've had other series, but this one seems especially fruity.
It might go surprisingly well with salty rice crackers. It is very tasty.
From the supernatant.
Gorgeous and bitter with a terrific sweet bitterness.
Mixed with a cage.
It is smooth and mild on the palate.
The acidity is quite sour and sweet-sour.
The bitterness is not so obvious.
The dryness is still there and it has a nice sharpness.

Sealed and left to warm up for about 2 months.
It has a rich mouthfeel.
Sourness and bitterness are strong, and they are tingling on the tongue.
The bitterness remains.
The taste itself is easy to drink.
Gorgeous sweet aroma, soft and gentle mouthfeel. It has a fresh gasiness and mellow flavor from direct pumping, and the aftertaste is wonderfully sharp. It is a cosy sake.
Serve with grilled salt-torpedo fish
Juicy sweetness and a hint of alcohol.
After that comes the pineapple aroma, followed by a lingering alcohol aftertaste and a clean cut.
I think this is my favorite of the Takagami series.
Koryu Gen unfiltered unpasteurized sake
Sweet and tasty, easy to drink.
The aftertaste is bitter and astringent (right after opening the bottle).
I'm curious to see how it develops over time.

I drank it a long time ago, and it's amazing that my impression is almost the same as then 🤨.
Aroma of melon🍈 at the time of eating, I guess.
A little bit sweet, a little bit spicy, a little bit bitter, well balanced and delicious 😋.
