drinking at home (as opposed to going out)
I had overlooked it until now, but when I passed by a liquor store located 5 minutes from my office, I noticed a banner of "Iwakuni no Ganki".
I noticed the Iwakuni Ganki banner and dropped by.
I stopped by and found out that they had a good selection of sake, so I took some home with me and Ikegame, who had checked in before 😃.
I took some home with me along with the Ikegame I checked in before 😃.
The sake was light and refreshing, and the costumers
I opened it in no time 😅
We will finish the year with only two more drinking parties called year-end parties✨.
Yesterday, I visited Ajikuriya, a one-minute walk from Shimbane Station! It is a sister store of Kichijo's, where I often buy sake. I've also posted the sake menu.
I was not a member of the sake drinking group, so I only had two glasses, but I had a glass of Banjo Kotobuki, which I had been wanting to drink.
Fruity aroma. The gas was gone. It is moderately sweet and has a beautiful flavor.
The spiciness and bitterness are very zesty!
The freshness was clean, dry and delicious✨.
Good morning, ichiro18 ✨
I think it's a sister store of a familiar liquor store, so I feel familiar with the brand name at the store 🎵Banjo Kotobuki has an image of a refreshing sake, but this one looks more crisp and delicious with the added gasiness 😋✨.
Good morning, Pinocchio 😃.
Yes, it is! I wanted to drink some of the sake I wanted to drink 🤤Banjo Kotobuki is a food sake, isn't it? The gas seems to have been released after some time, but the bitterness and spiciness were nice and refreshing 😃.
I decided this would be the first one I squeezed this season: ‼︎✨
Nice aroma of citrus and lemon with a touch of sweetness🍊🍋🌲.
On the palate, a bit of gasiness with cider-like sweetness and flavor all at once 🏮🌉.
Crisp, dry, and with a presence of acidity that is irresistible☺️✨☺️
Too good ❤️ and too cosy ‼︎
Honjozo 🍶 Shiboritate Nama Sake ✨Orikagarami
Sharp ✨ Slightly angular. Spiciness comes first. Sweetness and umami follow. It has a straw-like feel. It softens when paired with stuffed dried tofu. The gravy is delicious.

I tasted and bought this sake at a newly reopened liquor store on my way home from a graft clinic in Osaka.
The aroma is yogurt-like and the mouthfeel is alcoholic, then spicy and sweet with a pear-like aftertaste 🍐.
The price is only a little over 1000 yen and the cost performance is great👍.
It has been 14 years since the Great East Japan Earthquake. Drinking this sake reminds me of that day.
Suzuki Sake Brewery is located in Nagai warehouse.
They moved from Namie-cho and are doing their best.
I would like to face this bottle slowly with warmed sake.
It is rich, umami, and robust, the Junmai.
100% Yume-no-Kou from Fukushima Prefecture!
This is a summer sake we received as a souvenir from our trip to Iwaki last month.
Today I enjoyed it with sashimi of Hoya (sea squirt) from Miyagi prefecture. ✨️
I have been drinking it carefully, but I finished it today (>_<)

After losing their brewery in the earthquake, the Suzuki Sake Brewery moved from Fukushima to Yamagata to rebuild, and by brewing this sake with rice from their hometown of Fukushima, the brewery hopes to "keep Namie sake alive.
The aroma is full, with fruit and rice aromas coexisting. The taste has acidity, but the softness and sweetness typical of Yume-no-Kou stands out, and it is exactly the quality of sake from Fukushima.
In a word, a very emo sake.
Repeat Score] 2.0
This year, influenced by you, I often drink nigori sake at home.
I don't like nigori during the new sake season because it tingles in the mouth and is often painful, but around summer it settles down and you can taste the juicy sweetness of the rice and it is delicious 😊.
I was curious about this one because I saw quite a few people drinking it last year 🫏.
The top aroma is softly sweet with a hint of rice.
When you put it in your mouth, it is a fluffy rice mousse with a slight gassy feeling.
There is a refreshing sweetness from the rice and a hint of sourness.
A little sake-like at the end 🤔.
It was delicious. ✨️
