Here's a drink we had on Christmas Eve.
Akanesasu by Tsuchiya Sake Brewery.
This time it was a sparkling dry sake.
This is the sparkling wine I wanted to drink.
I got it the other day at the Komenohana and was looking forward to drinking it.
Before I give my opinion, I have to say that it was a really tasty sparkling wine that I would like to repeat.
Now, let's have it right away.
First, the aroma. Surprisingly, it has a sake-like aroma.
When you put it in your mouth, the first impression you get is that it is very sour.
It is very refreshing. The sourness is the first impression, but there is also a hint of sweetness and a nice aroma.
In any case, it is easy to drink! And it is delicious!
Even my wife thinks it's delicious! My wife also said it was delicious!
The bitterness is only slightly perceptible in the aftertaste, but this seems to create a moderately dry feeling.
It was really tasty, shwashy, and refreshing, perfect for a toast.
It was another blissful sake time today.

A drink comparison 🍶 that I got at a hot spring hotel on a recent trip to Shinshu.
❄️ Akane Sasu
The aroma is fruity. When you drink it, it has a mild sweetness and umami, but not too sweet, with plenty of juicy pineapple. There is no fizz, but you can also feel the chili freshness.
❄️ Tenryo Honor
The aroma is mildly fruity, with hints of pear and melon. When you drink it, it is not sweet, but refreshingly light and tasty with pear. It goes well with meals.
❄️ Turtle Sea Hosoyuki
The aroma is clear pineapple. When you drink it, you can feel the slight carbonation! Maybe it is freshly opened? Sour pineapple fruity, and the end is cut off by the sourness and alcohol.
I chose what I wanted to drink and Tsuchiya Sake Brewery was 2/3.... They were all delicious!
Since we were in Nagano, I dragged my friend, who is not so familiar with sake, to visit Okazaki Sake Brewery and get some of their new sake.
The surrounding streets and stores had a great atmosphere and I wandered around with a lot of excitement.

The first thing is the aroma. The aroma is not so strong.

This is my favorite sweetness.

On the last day of the Bon vacation, I decided to invite my siblings and their families to have a BBQ at my parents' house 😁.
We started preparing around 4pm, just in time for my nieces and nephews to finish their sports class 🍴.
It was breezy in the evening, but it was still hot, so we started to pour beer from the preparation stage and then followed the example of Mr. Noodle Sake King and went for the sake at the BBQ 🍶.
Akanesasu Sparkling Dry
This is a sake I got on a recent trip to Shinshu, and I paired it with this one as a starter ✨.
The restaurant said it was quite dry, so I thought it would go well with BBQ, so I chose it!
The aroma of rice like pear or melon, the mouthfeel is slightly sweet and soft with a dry sharpness of umami and acidity, and the lingering aroma of green apples, which is typical of Shinshu sake, lingers afterwards!
Ahhh, it's delicious!
This one was purchased at the Ootsuki Sake Shop in Matsumoto City 😊.
It was the only "Akanesasu" I found among the liquor stores I stopped by during my trip, so I wanted to try other brands too 🤣.
