At home. About 30 years ago, when I was in my first year of working, my senior took me to a sake party, and this was the first sake I tasted. Now it's sold in many different varieties, and I feel the times have changed. The taste is still the same, it is as easy to drink as water, and it is a delicious sake that reminds me of those days.

The last of the Ohigan parties was the first Kamizenjosui in a long time. I had an image of a more Showa-esque sake, but to my surprise, it really looked like water. It went well with a wide range of foods such as sashimi and Costco high rollers. In other words, it doesn't get in the way. It made me rethink my opinion a little bit. I think I need to update my taste buds by choosing something that doesn't look like a local sake sometimes.

Gorgeous aroma of rice and ripe apples. Milky mouthfeel with rice flavor like amazake. Moderate acidity and bitterness, with little sweetness. Overall, the impression is of a refreshing dry taste.

Yesterday, I played my annual tennis 🎾 with high school classmates (a bit snowy, but indoor) -> hot springs ♨️ -> drinks 🍻. I drank some Kouzenjosui for the first time in more than a decade! Soft and gentle! It has a slight sweetness with little acidity and a thin taste. It was refreshing, just like water. As usual, it was an enjoyable drinking experience I don't remember the details 😅. I think we drank Hakkaisan and Koshinokanume. And lots of beer 🤣.

Hanami sake from Kozen Nyosui. The bottle is slightly pink, but the sake is clear (laugh). Although it is a kamizen nyosui, it has a smooth taste and does not taste like a sake. But I think it is a good sake for Hanami.

It seems to be limited to the brewery at the station. Both the bottle and the label are a bright blue. The alcohol content is a little high at 17 degrees because it is a pure sake, but it was not too rich and easy to drink. Thank you for the sake.
