It's been a while since I've posted 💦.
I have had the Tenmei Nakatori series as a one-off drink, but I thought it might be interesting to compare them and bring them to a sake party!
When I asked people to drink blind, more than half of them said the four and five were delicious and popular!
Afterwards, when we tried to get people to guess the brands in the blind tasting, everyone didn't guess at all, lol (even the person who guessed the most got only two bottles right🎯).
(Even the person who guessed the best only guessed two bottles ○) I guess you can never tell by comparing drinks based on information such as sake rice and acidity.
It made me realize how much I usually drink sake based on labels and brands 😭.
Personally, I thought the 4G was well-balanced and delicious! The last time I drank Mizuho Koganei, I thought it was sweet and tasty, but I still had a preconceived notion that it was made from edible rice -> sweeter! I guess I had a preconceived notion that 💦.
I would like to compare them next year if I have a chance!
4.0/5
Satou-san, good evening.
It's spectacular to see Tenmei-san lined up like this ✨
I'm sure it's a fun sake activity with the blind tasting and drinking comparison 🎵
I definitely don't get it either 😁✨
Hi Satou 😃.
It's a dream to line up the Tenmei series 🤩.
We've been working on it for a few years and still only have 4 to 1 🥲 so it's going to take another 10+ years 😆.
Blindfold guess! Sometimes we do it as a couple, but it's hard 😅.
Hello Jay & Nobby 😃
The four and five were popular as last year!
(I thought the balance and drinkability was to everyone's liking)
It's too nice that you and your wife are blind tasting 😆.
Hi Satou 🐦.
That's an impressive lineup✨and a fun drinking competition! I'm sure I won't win either lol, but it's nice to drink while everyone ahs and ahs 😆.
Most importantly, good job on collecting them😊.
type IV (blood, etc.)
Amamoya-san! The type that Mr. San is kyuning for. San mellow umami. 86 points
Sweetness: 2.7
Acidity:3.4
Dryness:2.6
Hinted aroma: 2.6
Sweet and delicious. Soft sweetness without corners. It also has a good amount of grape-like acidity. The end of this year's mid-season series. We enjoyed it very much!
Tenmei Junmai Namaisake Nakadori Zero-go
Aroma: Pineapple-like sourness 🍍 Sweetness is abundant.
Full of sweetness, acidity and umami spread at once. Well-balanced and refreshing at the end ✨.
Easy to drink without feeling like it's 15 degrees 🥰.
The temperature change is also fun 🥰.
I got "Tenmei", "Ki", and "Gagakuyo", which had specials at Dan Chu, and this time I got this one 💁.
Tenmei is really delicious .
It is freshly opened and you can feel the hardness.
The supernatant is more dry, and after mixing the lees, it becomes more harmonious 😊.
I'm military to the previous Zero, but I'm looking forward to this one in a few days when the corners are removed.
I'll be chewing on the enthusiasm on the back label and taking it slowly♪
Tenmei Peach Tenmei Special Honjozo Nikka
Aroma is tropical fruit type like mango
Rather clear sweet and acidic! It is not at all thick and can be drunk smoothly like water! It's a honjozo sake, but it doesn't have an alcoholic feel at all! It's a pure sake, but it doesn't have any alky feeling at all!
This bottle was highly recommended by the store owner! It is a honjozo but with 50% polished rice and costs around 1,700 yen 🙆.
I used to get Tenmei's warehouse camellia and became a Tenmei fan.
I became a Tenmei fan 💕
I love the label too 😘.
I will have Tenmei👏 in spring!
It's sweet like strawberry 🍓, similar to Kura-Tsubaki.
Not sweet at all,
It has a gentle, soft and fluffy sweetness 😋.
The sweet and sour sourness is refreshing.
Spring
Squid with vinegared miso
Tempura of small shrimp and snap pea
(winter vegetable) white and purple cauliflower🟣.
So, ✌️
I wonder what is in season in Aizu 🌸 spring 🙄.
PB bottle I bought on my trip to Aizu.
There were many colorful brands at the store and I was confused, but I decided to buy this one as a souvenir because the one I had at the inn was so good👍.
We will have it with a glass of "Tenmei" which we got at the same time!
When I opened the bottle and poured it, it had a slight aroma of banana, apple, and spices.
The mouthfeel is moist and oily on the tongue with a spreading effect.
It is mellow and smooth, but at its core, it has a beautiful acidity and purity, with a moderate habit.
There is also a hint of sweetness, like tree nuts, vanilla, and apples with honey!
But it ends up fading away sharply, so you can enjoy it leisurely with elegance and serenity ✨.
The one at the inn was a medium-brewed type, so it was fresh, but this one was a complete turnaround, with a mature, seated flavor.
Both are quintessential "Tenmei" quality!
Preferred ★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆
Sango-go" is said to have focused on "typical flavor and acidity" while making the most of Kame-no-o's characteristics.
It was delicious with a light mouthfeel and plenty of oriki.
