This is delicious. It has no sweetness and is so refreshing that you can drink as much as you like. I drink a lot of nigori sake this time of year, but this is the best so far. By the way, there was no spouting when the bottle was opened.

Nose: Complex nose. Slightly aged, oaky and raisiny.
Taste: Spicy on the palate, followed by sweetness and acidity, with a spiciness that lingers at the end.

This is one of this year's Autumn Sake that I purchased in Akita.
I don't know because I've never had the year-round type of Chiyoen, but as the description on the back says, it has a slight sourness to it. (But if it were not mentioned in the description, I might not notice it so much.)
As you drink it, you can feel a slight carbonation on your tongue. I don't know how to describe it, but the aftertaste seems bitter in a good way.
