Here it comes, Beetle! Refreshing sake on the nose, tastes like lemon wine? Schwapiri at the end, with a deep aftertaste. Anyway, this is a bottle with an emphasis on freshness. It goes well with strong flavored meals.
This is Senkou Kabutomushi.
The aroma is gentle and refreshing, with a strong acidity and moderate sweetness in the mouth. It finishes with a slight bitterness like grapefruit, making it a very refreshing sake.
After a few days, the acidity rounds out and mellows out. It can be enjoyed with a variety of dishes due to its moderate sweetness.
Last year, we did not have a chance to meet Kabutomushi. This year, we will taste Kabutomushi in Edo.
Adult lemon squash is still alive and well. However, it is not a sweet and easy-to-drink sake, but has acidity and a proper structure, as expected. It is not a sake I would recommend to those who are not fond of sake, but rather to those who are not so familiar with sake. I usually drink sake in small sips, but I definitely like Kabutomushi better if I drink it in large gulps. I love Kabutomushi.

It's so easy to drink that the four-pack was gone in no time. I got it again this year, so that's good👍.
