Taiheikai from Ishioka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. It's cold again, so I made some meat tofu to go with it.
Unlike the classic label image, it has a clean, apple-like flavor. It is light and dry, but also different from Niigata sake. The fruity mouthfeel makes it easy to drink, and the tangy dryness of the aftertaste is nice.
Not much aroma.
A bit of green apple and freshness on the palate.
Passing through, it feels soft and smooth textured.
Rice and koji-like flavors, light fruity, melon, etc.
It's like a fresh spring breeze, though it's oriented.
Serve with grilled asparagus, udo and firefly squid tempura.
Shokusai Tatsu, Kinshicho
Young melon and rummy nose.
Sweet and gassy on the palate with an immediate bitter taste
The bitterness doesn't linger on the palate. It's like a dry, sweet...
Very tasty!

It is a clear sake with a sharp taste and a strong acidity. It has a hint of sweetness that makes it easy to drink. It goes well with sushi. I can't find anything wrong with it, but I think it is an understated sake. Sake
The sake does not have much aroma, but has a soft sweetness and sharpness from the first sip. The aftertaste is also mildly sweet.
It does not interfere with the taste of food, so it goes well with soaked okra and sushi. It is the perfect food sake for light tasting food.
It is not a sake that is extremely tasty on its own, but it goes well with food! It is not a stand-alone sake, but it is a supporting player that goes well with meals.
Taiheikai Junmai Orikawari.
It is a raw sake.
The orikiri is thin.
It has sweetness and sharpness.
Delicious 😋.
This is good as a food sake👍
I had mackerel miso 🐟 for dinner tonight.
It goes best with ❤️
You can drink as much as you want 😋.
Price: ¥1615 (720ml)
I have some shopping to do at the bookstore today, and I'm going to Tokyo Station. I feel like stopping by Hasegawa Sake Shop. This is my first time drinking this sake. I ordered it because it is orikarami. It has a refreshing sweetness, acidity, and a bit of chili. The soft sweetness is finished off by a moderate bitterness. This is delicious.
The store's pop-up says, "It's like strawberries."
And "yummy! and it says, "It's like strawberries" (lol)
And it's a good price! I decided to buy it right away.
A little schwarzwaffe, just the way I like it 😆.
The subtle aroma, acidity and sweetness,
It really is like strawberry.
It's a bit cloudy because of the origami,
It is easy to drink,
It has a good flavor and this is good.
It is delicious!
There is a famous sake in Ibaraki. Fuchu Homare's 1314 is named after the No. 14 yeast in the 13° original sake. 14 yeast is also known as Kanazawa yeast, and is said to be characterized by low acidity and a strong ginjo aroma. In fact, you may not have had many sake made with No. 14 yeast.
This sake is very fruity, but I felt some heavy flavors of melon and grapes. It is somewhat like a smooth, easy-to-drink black honey. It may be a mild sweetness with little acidity.
If you drink it in summer, it is good on the rocks. This is delicious. It may not be a major brand, but Fuchu Honor is definitely delicious.
