Kinshicho Lunchtime Drinking Part 3
The next one was also recommended by Sukkiri. This is also our first time at Hazen Hakubai Tawarasetsu.
It is served with a plate of fish and grilled vegetables. The fish, carrots, and turnips were delicious, but the fried Brussels sprouts were delicious - I tried to imitate them at home 😊.
The last recommendation for the easy course was this ❗️Another first for us was the Beppin light nigori Junmai Ginjo!
The bottle was just about to be empty, so we had a little more than we could finish 👍
I paired it with tsukune skewers with moromi miso sauce! No doubt about it! She's a beautiful woman!
And to top it off, we had onigiri rice balls and miso soup!
There were many dry, high strength sakes, but all in all, 5 bottles = a little more than one 4-gouge bottle. All of them matched the food and were delicious.
I had completely forgotten about it, but it was a good Xmas present to myself!
It was really a good lunch. I think I will make it an annual event 🤔.
The end
Jay & Nobby, good morning ☀️.
Looks like the weather was nice and you are in a good travel dream mood lol.
The grilled onigiri🍙 at the end of the trip looks delicious❣️.
Hi Pon 😃
Thank you for taking the time to read my J&N travelogue 😊 But the only thing is that not even 10% of the whole story is about alcohol 🍶 😅 always 🤣.
Hi T.KISO 😃.
Yes, it's true ☀️'s day of good travel dream mood❗️I wonder if Teleto will talk to me 😆 At the end, it was delicious with cooked grilled onigiri 😋.
Hello, Mr. Bousuke 😃
It was really great that this restaurant has food that goes well with alcohol 👍 It was also nice to drink alcohol that we don't drink at home 😋 For some strange reason we both didn't get drunk at all 😊.
Hi Mamio 😃
Let me shout out a little "Lunchtime drinking in Kinshicho ‼️" Yeah, it sure sounds great 😆.
I'd like to make it a regular event at the end of the year👍
Jay & Nobby, again 😄♪
I like the easy course 😊The food looks delicious 😋💕I'm glad you were able to drink at a nice restaurant 😆.
I drank a little over 4 gou of wine at lunch and again at night ❓Of course 🤣.
Tsubu-chan, I'm with you 😊.
Everything was really perfect and we had a happy lunchtime drink 🥰 That night we met up with my sister at my father's place. She was working during the day, so we had beer and highballs like nothing happened 😆.
Today we have Hazen Hakubai Tawarayuki.
Since we visited a restaurant that serves Yamagata cuisine, the sake is also Yamagata. We will have Tawarayuki, which is recommended by Mama.
Tawarayuki bottles the same type of sake, but divides it into three types: nigori (nigori), kamifumi (supernatant), and unfiltered.
The nigori is the freshest of the three, with a fizzy, dry nigori taste.
The top clear distillate has a gorgeous aroma of melon. It also tastes fruity.
The melon aroma is more subdued and the taste is thicker and fruity than the superfine.
Personally, I would recommend the nigori shown in the picture ^ ^ ^.
All the sake were easy to drink and delicious, and it was a luxury to be able to compare three different types of new sake ^ ^ ^.
The person sitting next to me at the bar happened to be the owner of a Yamagata restaurant, and she told me about the delicious rice and natto soup made with Tsuyahime and Yukiwakamaru, so I went to visit her.
We had not only Tawarayuki, but also Kudokibe, Eikoufuji, and many other kinds of sake, and we were all drunk and stupefied at the end of the year.
I'm a newbie to Yamagata, so I was very pleased that they went out of their way to make me taro stew, which was delicious.
Lightly colored but almost transparent.
The aroma of ripe fruits is gently fragrant. Banana, pear, and a slight woody atmosphere are also present.
At room temperature, acidity is the main flavor, but it is not harsh because the overall taste is gentle. Slight sweetness, acidity, minerality, and astringency round out the aftertaste.
Warm it to lukewarm.
Sourness and gentle sweetness spread out, and there is a gentle sense of scale.
It is gentle and has no sharp characteristics, so it can be easily matched with all kinds of dishes. It may be easy to use in restaurants.
It is an Aki-agari Yamada-Nishiki. It has a gorgeous aroma, but as it warms up in the mouth, the flavor deepens and you can feel the riceiness of Yamadanishiki.
Rice used is Dewanosato
At first sip, I thought, "This is delicious!
This is quite a talented brewer.
The moment you take a sip, the banana-like sweetness spreads, with a good amount of bitterness in the aftertaste.
It is not gorgeous, but the atmosphere is calm and serene from start to finish.
It is a nice and classy sake and I liked it❣️.
Purchased at the Yamagata Antenna Shop in Ginza.
It has a clear ginjo aroma.
The taste is light, dry, and sharp.
The taste is firm, but not harsh and crisp.
You can taste the umami and aroma of rice.
It is very tasty with a light sweetness and a gorgeous mellow aroma. I really wanted to drink it with Japanese sashimi, but my wife prefers Italian-style snacks, so I'm not sure if it would be a good match or not. Tomorrow, we will enjoy it with sashimi from our favorite fresh fish restaurant.
