I drank this after drinking a series of limited-edition, high-quality junmai daiginjo-shu, so the sweetness was a little too much for my taste buds, but if I had drunk it by itself, it would have been perfectly fine and tasty. My own mother, who was worried about the lack of sake, had bought more. We are thankful to have it with sushi. Alcohol content 15 Sake degree +0.5 Acidity 1.3 Ingredients: Rice (domestic), rice malt (domestic), brewers' alcohol Rice polishing ratio 50%.

Gorgeous fruit aroma. Slightly sweet on the palate, with a tartness and sweetness reminiscent of green apples, and a moderate alcohol pungency. The aftertaste is light but still sweet. Alcohol level 16%. Sake meter degree +3 Acidity 1.5 Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is my first time drinking Echigo-zakura, and it is well-balanced, has the flavor of rice in a daiginjo, but also has some miscellaneous flavors, is easy to drink, and has a perfect aftertaste, so I completely overdrank it! Overall, this is one of those sakes that you can tell is from Niigata. It went great with squid.

We received this sake as a consecration sake for the ground-breaking ceremony. The sake is light and easy to drink. I am thinking of using some of it as a cooking sake, since it is in a large quantity (2 shou). It would be better if it were heated. It is better at room temperature as a food sake.
