Dry, mild and very easy to drink.
It does not smell of alcohol at all, and is so tasty that it is hard to believe it is a sake that can be drunk for around 1,000 yen.
There are signs of fall these days 🍂.
Tonight's dinner is "Oden🍢".
It was an izakaya dinner of oden and grilled onigiri, but as we were eating, I thought, "I guess hot oden should be served cold," and broke the rule of opening the package on a weekday 😆.
It's dry, but has a richness and sweetness unique to the original sake...it's an endless loop with oden 😆.
Also bought at the supermarket, this one is Echigo Sakura.
Not chilled enough, but I opened the bottle. Not much aroma. It was described as a medium-bodied, slightly light, but I think it is dry.
It's also nice, and it will be tasty when it's chilled.
Where is the day off drinking?
Green apple, pear and jasmine aromas. Soft and delicate impression on the palate. Delicate aromas of rice malt, with a touch of vanilla and cream on the finish. Light acidity and a clean finish. Slightly sweet, but overall it is quite light and spicy.
Moderate aroma
Slight sweetness on the palate is immediately followed by a pungent alcohol taste. The aftertaste is light and refreshing, with a light acidity and sweetness.
Alcohol content 17%.
Sake strength: high
Acidity: Normal
Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really liked the ginjo aroma of this sake.
It was very easy to drink even for me, a beginner, and I wondered if it was sweet. But it was refreshing and the soft aroma was very nice.
My son gave me this sake for Father's Day, and I opened a bottle that I had been saving to drink with him when he returned home for the Bon Festival.
