Sake from Aizu-Sakashita in my wife's countryside. This is my first time to drink sake here.
It is refreshing and fruity. I really felt that the level of Aizu sake is very high!
I served it with Aizu horse sashimi, and I used Korean Karatsu and Kumotsuru for the sake cups.
Sparkling sake from Aizu's Toyokuni Shuzo
Since there is Toyokuni Shuzo (一歩己) in Fukushima Prefecture, I apologize, but I was confusing it with their sake brewery.
We bought this sake because we had a chance to visit a liquor store in Aizu!
I brought it to a celebration and it took more than 5 minutes to gush when I opened the bottle lol!
The taste is low alcohol, 12%, so it drinks like sparkling wine! The carbonation is not that strong, but the schwizziness is wine itself!
It is not enough to drink as sake, but if you drink it as sparkling wine, I personally prefer it to wine!

White malted rice. The soft and refreshing acidity is pleasant.
Last week, I drank a white malted rice of Aizu Shikon and enjoyed it, so I tried it. The acidity tends to be similar. I like both types. They are perfect for this season.
