Beautiful label...18% alcohol by volume...the alcohol is very strong...aroma: a faint aroma of rice. You can feel the delicious taste of rice on the palate...but the bitterness in the aftertaste is bothersome...It's like a good old Japanese sake...I'm having it with sashimi assorted by my regular old man. .... I'm sipping it. It's a raw sake, so it warms you up....

Souvenir of Mt. Mitake trekking, Kisho's Shiroyama Cherry Blossom. I didn't know there was such a thing. Oh, it's so good! It is a solid ginjo-shu without any playfulness. Almost no sweetness. Somewhat similar to Yamagata's Bakuren...
Tokyo is a mountainous area with Mt. Undori, which rises over 2,000 meters and is classified as a so-called high mountain. Therefore, the water is good, and so is the sake. You can buy locally brewed sake such as Kiyomasa and Sawanoi at fixed prices at NewDays in the train stations. It is wonderful. Incidentally, Tobiroki, a world-class sake from my hometown of Aizusaka, Fukushima Prefecture, is sold in a box at Aizu Wakamatsu Station for 8,000 yen. What's not a baga?

A bottle of Kisho. At Hinohara hot spring center "Kazuma no Yu". Probably the one of Honjozo. There is no description. The aroma is clear rice. There is almost no sweetness, and it has a robust taste of rice flavor, and it finishes well. I wanted to drink Kisho at this hot spring, so I spent more than 3,000 yen for a round trip, and after trekking for less than 5 hours, I had a glass. I was a bit woozy. The accompaniment is a famous fried maitake mushroom. Although it's not in the photo, we also had a set meal of boiled pork. It seems to be ready-made.

Traditional sake flavour... but with a strong hiyaoroshi fruity taste. Overall, the sharpness stands out, quite spicy! The acidity is there, too!

Kimasa's Autumn Agari. There you have it, the Aki Agari. This is the most robust of the Kishas. The ageing is certainly light, but the taste is quite light. I was supposed to go trekking in Hinohara village today, and have a bottle of Kishou at the hot spring... I knew I shouldn't have opened a bottle of Senkou Akatombo the day before. Today's Sunday is a good day for me.
