Medium body. Not fruity. Has some sweetness. Very easy to drink. Medium body, not thick, not thin. Nice, neutral, and a good compliment to strongly flavored food.
Sweet, but clean and neutral finish. Too fizzy for my taste. Moderate rice flavor, not very strong fruit flavor. Very good with subtle Japanese food. But mostly not what I want in a sake.
Very unusual and strong flavor. Almost syrupy. Citrus and a bitter edge. Adding ice brings out a dryer flavor, but adds to the bitterness. Good with meaty western food (barbeque). But not something I would buy again.
Thick, rather sweet. Smooth and ricey in the middle. Not harsh, but with a bitter edge at the end. Very nice with food. I'd buy this again. One of the best American sakes.
Thick and little sweetness. Rather aggressive alcohol flavor, with a bitter edge. Not sure I would buy it again. We don't get many genshu types in the USA, so it was worth trying.
