I decided on this one for 1500.
I'm sure I've had HE in the past, but I don't remember.
I would have preferred a cheaper one, but this was the only 4-gallon bottle I could find...
It has a fruity taste like pineapple, which is typical of Kawanakajima, but the blend and low temperature aging give it a calm feeling. I prefer it when it's a little closer to room temperature than when it's chilled.
That was my impression on the first day. To be honest, I wasn't feeling well or I didn't feel it was very good... When I drank it again, it had a dense sweet umami flavor and a beautiful sense of cohesion. I felt that the Miyamanishiki flavor was more assertive than the Yamada Nishiki. It has a high quality flavor. It's good that it's highly polished but not too refreshing.
A few days after opening the bottle, it becomes more juicy and sweet. It is better to drink slowly.
