The aroma is modest for a Kuroryu sake. However, when you put it in your mouth, you can feel the sweetness of cucumber that is typical of Kuroryu. The bitterness follows. I thought it would be more bitter, but it is delicious with hidden bitterness. パーム農家Anchor Corporal of the Tenmei Nakadori series. A sweet aroma. A slightly fruity aroma. The sweetness of the taste also stands out. But behind the sweetness, there are umami, sourness, and bitterness. Not too sweet...but sweet. There is a roundness to the flavor. It has a rich aftertaste. I've never had so much kijo sake, but I didn't know it could taste like this. Before being heated, it has a strong melon aroma. When heated, the harshness is removed and the melon aroma is replaced by a gentle melon flavor. The taste is...too good.
