It has just the right amount of umami and a refreshing taste. When I drink this summer limited edition sake, I truly feel that summer is good.
The "kun" in "kun-drop" is a Chinese character for "earth" and "growth," meaning the earth that makes all things grow. Kun-drop" means a drop from the earth. The more I learned about the meaning, the more delicious it became.

Summer Nama-zake is a junmai ginjo unfiltered nama-zake brewed in the winter and left in the bottle until summer.
It has a nice taste with a mild but rich rice flavor.

When you open the lid, you hear a spoonful and a loud sound. The rice has a very nice rich flavor and fruity taste.
It was made with Koshihikari rice from Kyotango and Kyoto yeast "Kyo-no-Koi".
Shirasugi Sake Brewery is said to be made by five people. Amazing. I will continue to enjoy this precious sake with great care.

It was developed in collaboration with local high school and university students at Wakamiya Sake Brewery. It is said to be "sake for young people," inspired by the word "chill," which expresses a relaxed atmosphere.
It has a clean yet robust taste. It is not gorgeous but has a deep taste that is interesting and makes you want to drink more and more. Very tasty. The stylish label is also very nice.

Purchased a set of refreshing summer-inspired sakes to compare.
Everything was delicious, but I especially liked the shortcake.
The yakitori from Torisei and sushi from Daiki Suisan were excellent, and the space full of stores was stylish and comfortable.

On Sunday, April 6, I went to Fushimi Sake Brewery to buy sake. I took a leisurely stroll toward the Jujikkoku-bune pier. As soon as I came to the bridge over the river, I saw magnificent cherry blossoms in full bloom in front of me. It was the first time I had ever seen such amazing cherry blossoms. A memory that will last a lifetime.

Yesterday, I went to Fushimi Baru.
I visited Fujiwara two years ago, a brothel-turned-restaurant with a great atmosphere. A large Eikun barrel is placed inside the counter, and you are served sake drawn from the barrel and poured into a glass. I don't know the name of the barrel, but it tastes great. It was a very tasty sake that went well with the excellent sashimi and tiojiru.

Today, I participated in the Kintetsu Hiking [Sake Brewery Tour]. The goal was Saito Sake Brewery of Eikun, my favorite sake brewery. I was so happy that I even bought a ballpoint pen.
I was told that this sake celebrates 2/22 "Cat's Day". Moreover, this sake was sold in a limited edition of 222 bottles.

Sake rice "Celebration" born to be a delicious sake. A label with a peacock or phoenix or some other auspicious bird. Appropriate for the festive New Year.
At a year-end party, people talked about eating osechi all year round. Osechi is a perfect accompaniment to sake.
At Fushimi Shuzo-do, we happily bought sake while consulting with the shopkeeper.
