Tonight we will be drinking at SAKE POST again 🍶. A unique smoky flavor. This is the first time I've tasted sake with this flavor. It is slightly dry and refreshing, but you can't tell the depth of flavor from just one sip 😑. I would like to drink more than just a cup of sake ✨.

This sake is from Akaiwa City, Okayama Prefecture. Purchased from a discount supermarket I stopped by on a trip to Okayama (one day trip to wander around Bizen City and Setouchi City). I wonder how long it has been since I had a sake from Okayama. It is rich, full-bodied, sweet and sour. It would be perfect for the cherry blossom season. The aftertaste disappears rather easily. This gentle yet floral part is very nice. It's really nice. How about when it is heated up? The spiciness is smooth, and the aroma is sharp like a hot wind. The sweetness is quickly followed by a slight aftertaste. It is much lighter. A refreshing acidity finishes everything off. This is an irresistibly lovely cup with a modest yet floral appearance that makes you want to drink it again during the cherry blossom season.
