I'm so excited to watch the World Athletics recap program at 4pm 😅 In such a world of Athletics, my family's accompaniment last night was Okuroku's Yamahai and Turtle.
The first sip had a strange aftertaste. It has the acidity and juiciness that is typical of Okuroku, but it has a lactic acidity that seems to have been overenthusiastic. This is where the ⁉️ master seems to be not so much from, but I was a little caught up. When the temperature relaxed, the aroma went away, so maybe it would have been better with warmed sake... 🧐.

I had Wakayama ramen as part of my morning ramen activity 😋 so I was energized from the morning👍.

I know it's been about a year, but I'd like to drink this season's Unite 🤗.
The aroma is a little bit like the aroma of No.6 Namaishige and the aroma of Yui.
The sweetness of the rice swelling in the mouth is quickly followed by a sourness that is somewhere between a spud and a cider 😋😋😋😋 The wild dryness of the yeast on the back end provides a contrast and overall balance that is excellent 🌟.

Okuroku Junmai Ginjo Namahoshi
This sake is limited to special dealers. It was purchased in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. It has a complex, deep sweetness and rich rice flavor unique to the traditional sake making process. Yet it has a refreshing aftertaste, so it can be enjoyed lightly even in the hot summer. This is delicious! I had given up on it, thinking it was only available in Iwate Prefecture, but I am glad I found a special distributor in Ibaraki so I can easily buy it.

I had bought this Okuroku at last year's event. It had been sitting in the fridge for a year, but I decided it was time to open a bottle 😁.
It's sweet with a bitter aftertaste. I guess it would be good as a food sake 😋.

I'm going to try to make a bottle of this one, but it's not sour because it's a Yamahai, so you can enjoy the fruity and slightly fizzy taste. 😋
