Hokkaido Sake
Kamikawa Taisetsu Goryo Junmai Daiginjo
This is the first sake produced in Hokkaido. I heard that this Kamikawa Taisetsu Goryo is only sold in Hakodate, but my daughter bought it as a souvenir from Karuizawa.
Sake rice produced in Hokkaido is quite popular now, and many sake breweries are using it. This Goryo is also made with Hokkaido sake rice. The aroma is elegant and sweet. It has a dignified sweetness on the palate, and it disappears quickly. I think this beautiful taste is similar to the three grains of Omine. It is delicious. I would like to try other Kamikawa Daisetsu sakes, but they are hard to find. I think Seacomart sells a small bottle. If I find it, I will buy it. It has become my favorite brand.
Degree of liking 10/10
Personal preference 3.9/5
Rice: Kameo Ginpu
Rice polishing ratio 60
Alcohol level 16
This is a complete brag, please understand. 🙇♂️
I went on a honeymoon: ✈️
It was a lot of fun, memories that will last a lifetime!
Money was blown 💰.
When I brought those souvenirs back to my parents' house, I snagged some of their sake!
My parents love Daisuki Kamikawa's Goryo.
Apparently they were traveling to Hakodate 😂.
Ginpu is a sake brewing rice grown in Hokkaido!
In other words, it's a rare taste 🌾.
The taste is light in a good way, with a perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness and a bit of dryness in the second half.
However, the dryness is not as strong as that of Hokkaido sake.
Personally, I could drink it without hesitation.
Thank you very much!
P.S.
My wife gave me a yellow card for buying too much wine 🍷.
Good evening, Ofuji.
Congratulations on your honeymoon: ❤️👨❤️👨✈️
I enjoyed your photos other than sake 🎵.
I will refer to them as I don't come across sake in Hokkaido very often😊.
Good evening, Ofuji. From Paris to Mont Saint-Michel and the British Museum? A fulfilling honeymoon💕That's right, you bought too much wine😆🍷Thank you for including the sake as well😊.
Good morning, Ofuji: ☀️
Mont Saint-Michel 🎶😍.
One of my BEST 3 things to see ❣️
Really beautiful 😍😍😍.
Yay, maybe I should get divorced and remarried and go on a honeymoon ✈️ ⁉️🤣
Good morning, Ofuji. 😊
Thanks for the honeymoon. 😍
I also went to Italy and bought so much
I bought a bottle of wine when I went to Italy. It was about 500 Japanese yen and it was amazingly delicious.
I remember it was so good and surprisingly tasty.
I remember it was amazingly delicious.
Hi Ofuji 😃
Then we'll be bragging back too! Well... wait a minute... 💬I'll comment when I think of something 😅.
We were probably talking about Australia 🇦🇺 but did we really go there ⁉️ yesterday 😆
Hi Ofuji 😊 nice honeymoon 😆.
Well, let's see, my honeymoon was in Hawaii and I flew half way home due to radar problems on the plane to get there... and in Hawaii we got hit by a hurricane... it was fun 🤣.
Hello, Ofuji!
Mont Saint-Michel! Europe is nice, is the 4th one [Rosetta Stone] at the British Museum?
When I got married, I was in the first period of Corona and I didn't go on honeymoon, so I guess I can go there only in my old age 🤔.
Good evening, Hirupeko 😊.
You are very knowledgeable, aren't you? That's right 💕︎
I also bought some cider at Mont Saint-Michel, so I almost got stuck with customs duty lol.
Good evening, T.KISO 🌙
Mont Saint-Michel was amazingly good!
And the episode in Las Vegas is very intense lol.
I think I would have done the same thing if I went there 🤣 I would love to have a second honeymoon there!
Good evening, Hanapin-san 🌛.
Thanks for the post 😊
It was just a day of splurging, but it was memorable - I was happy to spend less than 500 yen 🫢 1000 yen at the supermarket for a bottle of wine lol.
By the way, a bottle of Fanta was 800 yen!
Good evening, Mr. Manachy 🌛.
It was my first time in Europe and it was great!
I felt like I could do my best in English 🔥.
Wine was delicious everywhere 🍷.
Jay & Nobby, good evening 🌛.
We'll be waiting for you very carefully 😁.
Australia is nice too!
I now understand why you want to go abroad once you've been there: ✨️
I want to go to Italy next 🇮🇹
Nemuchi, good evening 🌛.
Thank you ✨️ it was awesome fun ✨️
I couldn't resist the wine and cider😊.
That must have been one hell of a trouble...
Please tell us more about those days live 🙏.
Jive, good evening 🌛.
Sorry about this time 🙇♀️
I'm right, Rosetta Stone was awesome, but I didn't have time to watch most of it 😭.
It's tough in early Corona...
I hope you will be able to go when you arrive!
Ofuji-san Good evening ^_^
Honeymoon to Paris👏.
I want to see everything 😭
Our own honeymoon, how many years ago😁.
We went to Florida and enjoyed Disney World and Sea World ✌️
Ofuji, welcome back from your honeymoon💕✈️ Let's brag a lot about such a wonderful thing 😆 Drink wine🍷 and chat a lot with your wife!
I was just after the earthquake and was relieved when the plane flew from Kansai Airport♪
Hi Pon-chan!
I'm back - June was slammed with moving and honeymoon lol!
One section of our new house is now honeymoon stuff 🎵.
Please let me know where you went from Kansai Airport 🤩.

Nice and dry but a #5 for the evening, my reporting skills are deteriorating 😂
Today is my day off.
I worked on my reserve greens 😁.
Well, my first visit to Goryo😆.
I heard it's the first time in Kyushu!
I imagined it to be dry.
I imagined it to be dry, but it had a refreshing sweetness
It's a light sake👍.
It's also a great cosmetic sake at around 1,400 yen!
It's a nice, clean sake with no bitterness.

At a special booth at Hakodate Racecourse
Today we are going to Hakodate Racecourse!
We were there for the Hakodate Sprint Stakes 😁.
Earnings were a ton? Lost some money.
I went to the Goryo booth, so I thought if I came to Hakodate, I must have a drink! ←I was so happy to see the booth.
Delicious! Beautiful! She says it's her favorite drink!
I am a driver, so this is my wife's impression.
The snack was chicken wings from Sekai no Yamachan, which was there in a kitchen car!
Yum!
Yesterday the double-flowered cherry trees in a nearby park were in full bloom 🌸Open this bottle 🍶It has a slightly sweet aroma, a slightly dry, full flavor, and a moderate lingering aftertaste with good sharpness.
Sake series brought back from Hokkaido, Part 1
Freshly opened.
Pears, green apples. A little banana melon. Gorgeous aroma.
Attack acidity. Sharp impression.
The umami comes in later.
The slight bitterness and the gentle sweetness of rice can be felt.
The acidity is distinctive and the rice is delicious, a rare balance.
