It has been a long time since I have had Sogen, and this is the first nigori sake I have had. The aroma is milky and pleasant, and the taste is sweet and delicious. I am afraid I could drink many cups of this.
Sogen's nigori sake.
The bottle was opened the day before and the top clear liquid was drunk as much as possible, and then it was opened on the second day.
It has sweetness, umami, and acidity.
It is refreshing with a sense of mashiness and a modest fizziness, but it is very drinkable.
It is not a fruity, sweet, umami, dessert nigori, but rather a classical nigori with a hard-edged aspect, but I would highly evaluate it as a nigori sake.
I would rate it highly as a nigori sake. It is in the same vein as nigori sake made by Kikuhime and Kawanakajima.
It is definitely a delicious nigori sake.
We received this as a souvenir from Suzu, Noto.
It was quite nice to bring it to a drinking party and have it with a soy sauce dish!
It has the sweetness of a junmai ginjo and the crispness of a sake!
Sake that was sold at the tasting corner of a liquor store. We were also there to support the city of Suzu, Ishikawa Prefecture, as it is the city's sake. They told us that they were finally able to make it at their brewery.
It is a refreshing fruity sake. It also had a mild bitterness.
I go to the local sake shop to buy new Sogen sake, which I look forward to every year.
The sake I brought back was last year's new sake. It seems that they bought the stock from the warehouse, so they will have to put off this year's new sake until the store's stock is depleted.
On the way home, I buy some fried hormone at a butcher shop.
Speaking of freshly pressed sake, the sake from Shiboritate, Shimehari Tsuru and Urakasumi are excellent, but I definitely prefer Sogen Oshi. It is fresh and tangy, with a heavy umami afterwards.
It is also good when heated.
Slightly acidic aroma, but firm in flavor, slightly sweet and full-bodied. The alcohol content is high. Four-step brewing.
I don't usually drink alsobe, but this is certainly delicious. !!!!!
And it's at a great price. Thank goodness.
The taste is the same even after more than a month. I was impressed.
Kaorin and I had booked a ticket for the Okayama Sake event on the Osaka Monorail the week before last, but we couldn't make it 😅.
We wanted to give the tickets to our friends at Sake-no-Wa, but they all seemed to be busy 😓.
I was going to take only the lunch box for the event, but the monorail staff offered me a leftover from the last Hokuriku Sake Monorail along with the lunch box 😇.
I couldn't drink Okayama sake, but I could drink Ishikawa sake 😀.
I had heard a lot about Sogen, but I had an image of it being a dry sake, so I couldn't get my hands on it.
You can't make up your own image of sake 😀.
Hello, Yasube-san!
Sorry to hear about the Okayama sake event💦.
I've been checking out the monorail event since I learned about it from Yasubeyesan's post, and I'd love to go to a product exhibition someday 😋.
Sogen is delicious too 🤗
Hi Yasbaye 😃
Sorry to hear about the monorail Okayama sake event 😢 I learned about it from Yasbaye's post and I'm too envious to drink sake on the monorail ❣️. I wonder if Tokyo monorail will do it too 🥹.
Hi, ma-ki- 😀
It's a pity that I couldn't drink Okayama sake, but thanks to the nice response from the monorail staff, I was able to learn about the deliciousness of Sogen😇.
I will attend the Saga Sake event on the 13th of December 😀.
Hi Hiro 😀
I've attended many times already and it's always fun to have a good drink while enjoying the view from the monorail😇.
The other day, the person who was at the same table told me that he has attended many times from the Kanto area😇.
