Well, chu-hi? Cocktail? It's like a juice because of the low alcohol content 🍹It's refreshing and I like to drink it with fried food on a hot day 😋.
But it's not very cosy, so I won't have it next time 😅.
LIBROM Lemom Verbena
During my trip, I stopped by a liquor store that handled a few different kinds of wine. I thought they were all interesting because I could taste the flavors of the ingredients. The one I bought had lemon verbena in it. It was effervescent, with a strength of 10, and easy to drink, with a sweetness and dryness that comes from the effervescence.
Craft saké requires the inclusion of ingredients that are different from sake ingredients in the production process, so the company has been thinking outside of the box and has released a variety of products one after the other with this as the main feature.
The price is quite reasonable at 2,600 yen for 500 ml including tax. The price is for people who receive receipts and can write it off as an expense. It is probably not something that the general public drinks on a daily basis.
I think the price is fair since the business seems to be successful with small-scale production and selling out unique and tasty products, but craft saké is generally priced quite high. Craft beers such as Yona Yona and Spring Valley are mass-produced and widely known for their reasonable prices, but craft saké is different from the background of its establishment, so I don't think it will be popularized among the general public.
However, if you go to a region, it would be nice to have a sake unique to that region. I guess that is the stance of this type of sake.
Tonight, for our first series, we have GINTEN NatureB Natural Rice x Amaou, a collaboration sake from LIBROM in Fukuoka ✨.
LIBROM and Pukupuku Brewing are popular for their craft saké, so I've been waiting to try LIBROM.
It is made with pesticide-free, fertilizer-free natural rice "Tochigi no hoshi" and Tochiotome🍓 from Fukuoka 🤗.
The sweet and sour aroma of strawberries rises from the moment the bottle is opened, and it is very tasty with a good amount of gas.
It is perfect as an aperitif or after-dinner drink 💮.

I bought this one when I showed up at the Young Dawn in Saitama-shintoshin before going to the Tokyo meeting. Not sure why I chose this one 🙄.
Produced as other brewed sake using secondary ingredients because the new brewer can't make sake.
A certain Oga craft brewery adds agave, which would have almost no effect on the aroma, but this one is the type that pushes the secondary ingredients all the way to the top, tabun!
I kept thinking that the aroma, flavor, and fizziness were similar to something else, but this one is very similar to Senkou's SAKAHANAKI (fireworks). It's like a fireworks display with strawberry nuances blended in.
If you think of this as a cocktail with a splash of sake, it might be a good way to enjoy sake in a casual way, or to introduce it to those who are not so fond of sake 😚.
But I guess it can't be helped... it's expensive... I'll just say I'm rooting for you😇

Purchased at sizuk sakeno sizuk opened last November near Kyoto station. North side of Yodobashi. A corner store.
I thought I had to go to Noboru Sake Shop in Tenri to buy it, so it's good news that I can buy it in Kyoto.
Brands handled include Hirotogawa, Yamawa, Yaetsuru, Haginishiki, LIBROM, Hakurei, Omine, Seiki Zouma, Sakaya Hachibei, etc.
There was also a seekwasser, but since it was my first time to buy it, I went for the standard one. It is made with lemon verbena, which has a lemon-like aroma.
It has a herb-like aroma, probably due to the use of lemon verbena. It is very active and shuwashy. It is sweet and sour, refreshing, and easy to drink.
I prefer it to rice and agave.
By the second day, the sourness felt like dried plums.
It's so much more sour.
The difference in taste from the first day is too big.

Sake from an up-and-coming craft saké maker. The strong secondary fermentation spilled over a lot, but it was a delicious saké, fresh and full of mango flavors.

The secondary ingredients of this sake are chestnut and vanilla. I can't even imagine what it tastes like. Let's drink it then.
The color is a uniform light cloudy.
The aroma is mild lactic acidity. There is a slight hint of chestnut.
In the mouth, it is suddenly sweet and sour! As it swells, the sweet and bitter alcohol also comes out, and the taste is even more impressive. The sweet and bitter alcohol aroma is also wonderful. I don't feel much vanilla, but I think there are chestnuts in the back of the bottle.
The flavor itself is not rich, but it has a strong presence. However, it cuts through quickly and has a clean aftertaste. The last time I drank Saliva, it was at 14.5 degrees Celsius, but this time it has a strong alcohol taste.
If I were to compare it to Ghibli's "Spirited Away," I would say that it is like "Otori-sama" from the movie "Spirited Away. He is a god like a chick. It's cute that everyone is crammed together in the bath. But he is big and has a strong presence!
