This is the 6th anniversary of a western style izakaya that does not serve sake.
I thought what better way to celebrate than with a gift of craft saké (Mint and Kiwi).
The Mint was opened and used as a toast.
It is nigori (cloudy), highly carbonated, and full of juice. I don't think the minty taste is strong.
It would be too thin if it was mixed with soda. Zucchini fritters with Parmigiano.
This will be my first LIBROM from Kraft Sake, which I was curious about after hearing that they are concerned with Fukuoka ingredients 🍶.
They use strawberries🍓 from Chikugo City.
The top aroma is of malted rice and a mysterious sweet aroma.
But I don't think it smells like strawberries.
When you put it in your mouth, it has a slightly carbonated and sharp taste.
It has a sweet and sour taste with a strong acidity.
Maybe it's because it doesn't smell like strawberries, but it doesn't taste like strawberries 😅It's fun to drink something like this once in a while.

We took a bus to Kintetsu Nara Station, and Umaisan, Lutemi and I took the Kintetsu train to Kyoto.

It is not strictly speaking sake, but I bought it because there is now a store in Kumamoto that carries it.
The first was Verbena, which was described as the flagship of LIBROM.
It has a nice herbal aroma and a taste like a sake cocktail.
It is light on the palate and at only 9% alcohol, it is easy to drink.
It has a graininess in the latter half, but the herbal aroma refreshes the palate.
My oldest son loved it and drank more than half by himself 😁.

The rice is Yamada Nishiki.
Sourness and sweetness from around the first taste, just like a passion fruit.
A sense of effervescence comes in, and the aftertaste is refreshing.
Although not classified as sake, it is a craft saké, so I listed it as such. It has a subtle floral aroma and a mild sweetness with just the right amount of acidity to make it an easy-drinking sake.

I've been wanting to try this one for a while.
Craft saké, which is treated as so-called "other brews".
The rice polishing ratio is 92% and the alcohol content is 9 degrees.
It was more grape than I expected, and more juice than I expected.
I thought it would be more of a sake, but it was just as easy to drink as grape juice.
It is amazing that it is so easy to drink with this rice polishing ratio.

Smoothie Sour Sake Banana🍌🍌🍌
It's a craft saké called Smoothie Sour Sake, which is made by LIBROM's doburoku process with a large amount of domestic bananas. ☺️
The aroma and quality of the sake is similar to that of a plum liqueur, but the banana flavor comes through in the aftertaste.
When mixed with the sedimentary layer, it turns into a thicker, thicker Doburoku. The creaminess and volume come through, but it is not at all weirdly strong, and the banana flavor is very mild and easy to drink 😋😋😋😋.
