My second son went on a trip to Gunma last month and bought me this souvenir. I haven't had sake for a very long time since I was invited by a Vietnamese guy to visit his parents' house and I've been getting into shochu (Japanese liquor) 😂 It's really good.
This is the kind of sake that makes you think that this is what sake should taste like. It does not go well with anything, and on the contrary, it does not enhance it to the extreme. However, it was delicious when served with oden. It is important to match the quality of the sake and the accompaniments.
Grapefruit, honeysuckle, cooked rice
I have a weakness for limited editions, but I didn't know it was super limited!
The taste is somewhere between wine and sake.
It seems to go well with cheese.
It was like a sweet. A nice sake with a rich sweetness and a nice heaviness that changes the way it feels depending on how it rolls around in your mouth. I love it!
Spring Sake!
The store menu said it arrived on 2/12.
This is a very recent sake!
I'm glad to come across it!
Speaking of melon, it tastes like melon!
Fresh and refreshing.
You can sense spring from the label too!
Tsukushi no tsukushi no ko (young Tsukushi) are showing their faces like they should be...
It will be cold this week, but it will soon be spring~!
7/10
Tanigawadake's new sake.
I remember it was quite dry and classic tasting when I drank it at a ryokan in Gunma.
This sake had the freshness and crispness of new sake.
Quite good.
There is no unpleasant alcohol taste, and it has a sharpness and a strong umami flavor.
It gave me a different impression!
