The rice used for the sake is Comet produced in Hokkaido, and the sake is light, dry, light, and delicious without interfering with food 🍶.

#Otaru#. I was a lecturer at a conference for companies. In the evening in Otaru, we had a get-together with the participating companies. The sake served there was Otaru's local sake. I prefer sweet sake, but it was a bit... I felt the spiciness was strong for a +5 sake, maybe because it was junmai? Today, I had to travel from Nagasaki to Otaru, I was a little tired😅.

I asked the staff which sake is more 甘口 and he recommended this to me. A sake coming from hokkaido, which matches with the sashimi they serve, also mostly from hokkaido. The sake taste sweet as the staff described, strong mellow, the taste stay in my mouth for a while. Very nice to drink with nice omekase!

I think it's the strongest to pair with food. Delicious, I love it! Note for myself It goes well with fish, fish paste, and shiitake mushrooms. Especially with shiitake mushrooms, I could feel the sweetness strongly.
