Sake-no-wa Kansai Off-line Meeting A Year-End Party (15)
Next is the sake brought by Robin, who participated in the Off-line meeting for the first time.
Takaragawa Junmai Daiginjo-shu
The sake had a clean rice aroma, a refreshingly cool sweetness that penetrated easily into the mouth, and a refreshing aftertaste.
This one is brewed by Tanaka Shuzo, the only sake brewery in Otaru City, Hokkaido.
Thank you Robin 🙇.
Thanks for the treat ✨
Hi Gyve 😃
Glad you all enjoyed the Takaragawa 😆 Nice of Robin to bring it along 😊.
Tanaka Sake Brewery's Kameko-gura is located in Otaru city sightseeing area, it's good ❗You can do tasting and have a variety of sake!
Good morning to you too, Noodle Sake King!
I've been regretting lately that I've only been to Hokkaido before my main taste for sake💦.
I need to do some local research on this one 😁.
Kansai Sake-no-wa Year-End Party 2024⑧.
Robin joined from this time.
We met at a joint sake brewery tour in Shiga, and when we were having trouble getting around by bus and train, Kyuzo-san asked us to join him and we decided to share the same road trip.
Later that day, bouken-san scouted us out and we connected.
He is a car DIY and a YouTuber who tours sake breweries across Japan.
Robin-san brought his own sake.
Otaru Takaragawa Junmai Daiginjo.
This was a sake that everyone had never seen before, and only kan-san, who travels all over the country, knew about it.
It has a fruity taste with a clear and smooth mouthfeel. I also thought the taste was clear and well-balanced and the water must be good.
When I checked the name of the brewery, I found that it was called Kyokui-Tanaka Shuzo, which is difficult to read.
It seems to read "Kanei Tanaka Shuzo.
According to the Internet, they produce about 500 koku.
Thank you, Robin, for the food 🙏.
Good evening, Nemuchi-san!
I enjoyed the off-line meeting, thank you very much. I brought a bottle of sake from Hokkaido, which I have never had myself 😁 I had no idea why, but thank you for your comment 👍.
Robin, thank you for the first offline meeting 🙇I thought you were nervous, but you introduced yourself fluently and I'm glad you got to know everyone so well right away 😊I got excited about the drinks I had never seen before 😆.
Sake-no-wa Kansai Branch A Year-End Party ⑭
Robin, who joined us for the first time, brought this sake.
It is a sake from Otaru, Hokkaido!
The sake was delicious, but Robin and I sat next to each other and had a lot to talk about 😁.
Thank you Robin 😁.
Looking forward to next time 😁.
Kansai Salmon Rumination Year-End Party ⑫
Sake brought by Robin
This is the only sake brewery in Otaru. It's not something you see in Kansai, and it's completely new to me 😍.
It has a very clean and refreshing taste.
It felt like a fruity dry type.
It's fun to be able to drink a wide variety of sake without being biased towards a particular type of sake 🤗.
I was very surprised to find out in conversation with Robin that she was a senior in high school 😳.
We met by chance at Kurabiraki, exchanged lines, and then met at an off-line meeting...what a miracle! ✨️
I opened the app for the first time in a while and found Shinshu Kamerei by Nemuchi just now. Then I ran into Bou's TL!
But it's a great coincidence that we are both high school seniors and sake connoisseurs...
Good evening, Mr. Sakeran.
It's been a while since we've seen each other here 🤗.
We met by chance and you're a sake lover and a paisan, that's too awesome 🤣.
Next time, please make a scene with some kinky sake 🤣.
Kansai Salmon Roe Bring and Share Year-End Party (3)
Robin's sake for the first time!
First time for me to try Otaru sake😳.
Beautiful and tasty and easy to drink!
I met bouken and his friends at the spring brewery tour and joined Sake-no-Wawa. A big newcomer who can't believe it's his first time to join us!
I look forward to working with you in the future 😊.
Jundaike Juntaichi
I've never seen a sake like this before 😳.
It's fruity and delicious so when I can drink it... 🥹.
Takadomari Glutinous rice four-step brewing.
Sake with an auspicious name by Yasube & Kaorin.
Mellow and delicious ❣️
Miyatamamochi is also new to me!
Sangyu IMPREVUE Jungin!
Sake by Nemuchi, which I can't drink anymore after last year!
I was surprised at the -40 sake level, but it tastes like wine. ❣️
Thank you for opening another bottle 🙇!
Sogapère Ephis Numérosis
Ao's Sake
I was surprised and thankful that she brings us Sogapé every year after last year 🙏.
The taste of the numerosis was very nice!
The sweet potato kenpi was also delicious ❣️
Shinsei Viridian.
We brought our own sake. I'll leave it to you. The letters are...
Thank you all for the delicious drinks, snacks, and fun time 😊.
Hi Pon. I am overwhelmed by everyone's sake pyramid! I want to drink this and that, and anyway, I'm going to enjoy the feeling of participating in a fun year-end party while watching your reviews 😊.
Hi Peco 🐦.
I'm sorry I couldn't join you 😢I didn't have time to taste all the drinks I couldn't drink at first and ended up binge drinking 🤣 my review had the same feeling because I didn't have enough words 😂.
Good evening Pon, good evening 😄 wow, so many drinks I didn't know about 😆 bringing your own sounds like fun 😍drinking and eating...lots of happiness 👍
Good evening, mariage 🦉.
I was also very excited to see so many drinks that I have never met before 😆 I enjoyed to see what kind of drinks you will choose ✨I was really happy ✨.
We received a bottle of Takaragawa from the Kyokui (Kanei) Tanaka Sake Brewery! It seems to be the only sake brewery in Otaru.
There are 3 kinds of sake so I'll try them in order 😁.
Junmai
It was dry but easy to drink. If you drink it at room temperature, you can taste the flavor. It becomes even easier to drink when cooled. It is also good as a heated sake.
Junmai Ginjo
Well balanced in taste and aroma, with a sweetness that makes it easy to drink.
Junmai Daiginjo
I brought this sake for the first time at the off-line meeting: ❗️
It is a clear, cloudy sake with a refreshing taste.
This was the first time I checked in for sake from Hokkaido myself, so it was a double commemorative sake 😁.
Good evening, Robin 😃.
Congratulations on bringing your first Hokkaido sake ㊗️ and participating in the Kansai Offline Meeting for the first time ㊗️ double 🎉I've never had Mr. Takaragawa 🥲 but each of the three varieties all sound delicious 😚.
Good evening, Robin. This is the first time I have heard of a sake called Takaragawa. I wish I could have tried it 💕Thank you for your time at the offline meeting 😊.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😃It was a good weekend with my first Hokkaido sake and first participation in the Kansai Off-line Meeting. Takaragawa-san had 3 different kinds of sake, each with its own character👍.
Good morning, Hirupeko 😃.
I'm sorry you couldn't come 😭I had a hard time choosing the sake for the off-line meeting🤣I wish I could have had everyone compare 3 kinds of sake.
Thank you Robin for the year-end party 😊and congratulations on your first visit to Hokkaido 🎉!
It's my first time to drink outside of Hokkaido and my first time in Otaru 😳Thank you for the rare, easy to drink and delicious sake, it was a treat!
Hi Robin 😀
It was my first time to meet you, but as expected, you got used to the atmosphere right away😇.
It was my first time to drink Takaragawa, but I would like to travel to Hokkaido someday to drink it again in my hometown 😇.
Pon-chan, thank you so much for everything at the year-end party😊I was really worried about whether it would be a good idea to bring some Hokkaido sake, but I'm glad it turned out okay 😃.
Hi Yasube!
I happened to meet some of you, and I also got your comments on Sake-no-wa, so I got used to you right away 🤣.
I'm sure Takarakawa would have a different image if you drank it directly in Hokkaido👍.
Good evening, Robin 🌔.
Thank you for your hard work in the offline meeting! Thank you very much for your precious dry sake in the Kansai branch of Sakegawa, where there are many sweet and perverted 🫶 types of sake 😊.
It was refreshing and easy to drink.
Let's talk a lot next time!
Good morning, Maru-san!
Thank you very much for everything at the offline meeting 🙇I didn't know everyone's tastes, so I was very confused when I made my choice 💦I hope I was able to serve Hogawa in a clear style 🙄 Let's talk more next time👍.
Izakaya near Kyushu University Hospital
Rare Hokkaido Sake
Drink cold
Clear and colorless
Almost no aroma
On the palate, it has a firm richness with a dryness.
It leaves a sharp dry taste in the mouth, but it finishes quickly.
When warmed, it has a full-bodied flavor, but the overall impression is light.
Purchased at the brewery on a recent trip to Hokkaido.
Basically, it is only available in Otaru.
(Mail order is available).
The white label is regular junmai, and the red label is umakuchi junmai.
When I tasted the white label at the brewery, I was under the impression that the taste was rather refreshing and calm, but...
When I heated the sake I purchased, I got a very favorable impression of the flavor. Especially the red label is very good.
It was a pleasant discovery.
We tasted a lot of sake at Kitaichi Glass Outlet, a nice local sake shop in Otaru.
They had a wide variety of sake from Hokkaido, including Niagara (wine) from Otaru Brewery, plum wine, and mirin (sweet sake) made by a sake brewery.
There were also a lot of sake from Otaru Brewery, Umeshu (Japanese plum wine), and Hon Mirin (Japanese sweet cooking rice wine) made by a sake brewery!
Since I was in Otaru, I bought a bottle of Otaru's only sake brewery, Tanaka Shuzo's Takaragawa, and a bottle of Takasago Shuzo's Umeshu (plum wine), which makes Niagara and Kokushimusou.
I was surprised to learn that ume (plum) wine is also made at a sake brewery. I didn't know that was possible. I would like to hear about it.
I was impressed to see all the sake breweries in Hokkaido! Thank you Otaru!
I bought a lot of sake.
Update: 2024/09/08↓↓↓↓↓
After the above, I went home and drank some Takaragawa!
Let me write about my impression at that time.
It was the first aroma I have ever smelled in a sake...it was rightly vanilla. I didn't know such a sake existed.
It was so delicate and so delicious that even after drinking it, I felt like there was still something in the depths of the bottle.
The production date was only 3 months ago.
It is my favorite sake.
I have been an adult for two years now, and for the first time I can confidently answer the question, "What is your favorite sake? I can answer with confidence. I'm sure I will have many more encounters with various kinds of sake in the future ( ´˘` ).
