Hitokochi. This summer I visited a brewery that is a little far from the five Suwa breweries. It is a type of sake that does not assert itself too much, for better or worse, so it can be sipped while eating. It is good at room temperature or slightly warmed.

We had a great dinner at Eel Furuhata.
It has a fresh, raw and crisp taste.
It went very well with the white sake.
We tasted 4 kinds of wines at Masumi Miyasaka in their beautiful standing tasting room and enjoyed all of them. I bought one from each of the five breweries. I will update this post later. Tomorrow, if we can make it from Shimosuwa, we will visit Shusen Kurano and Okazaki Sake Brewery in Ueda before heading home.

It has a mild alcohol content and is pleasant to the palate. The sweet aroma on the nose is also very feminine. I could drink it easily, but I might need three more bottles to ascend to heaven. I guess Nagano sake suits me after all.

Soft and gentle ☺️, a bit mellow and creamy🥛, surprisingly dry and sharp✨. Astringent and delicious.
