This is a continuation of the report on the second meeting of the August regular meeting of the Fukuoka Branch of WAKENOWA 📝.
I was over the top at this point, but the conversation with everyone was so lively that I decided to have a second drink👍.
I had never heard of this one either 🐢 Kameji Yoshihi.
The label looked like Rumiko's sake and was drawn by the same cartoonist: ✍️
I thought it would be sweet because of the label and the light nigori image, but it was quite refreshing and pulled away leaving a bit of sourness in the mouth.
After everyone had had two drinks, we left the restaurant a little after 1:00 pm and decided to finish up with ramen 🍜.
Thank you for the meal, my man 🐤. ‼️
We talked for quite a while there as well, and we broke up 💦 after 3:00pm.
Back at the hotel, I woke up to a message from Chichi that it was already 9:30am 💧.
It's been a while since I've enjoyed Fukuoka night to the fullest ✨.
Thank you once again to everyone at the Fukuoka branch for all your help, see you again in the winter⛄!
Good evening, Mr. Yoohee.
I'm so impressed with the Fukuoka Off-line meeting that it broke up after 3:00pm 🤣.
I'm amazed that you kept the flavor notes in such a state 😳.
Good evening, Yoohee 🌆.
Good job on finishing the race👍
I didn't know you were drinking that late 💦.
Please bring bouken evangelist and Nemuchi next time 😆.
Good evening, Chichi. ⭐︎
It's been two months, but I'm happy to report that we had a great time ✨.
We were all dancing for joy before we got in the cab at the end of the night in Nakasu👍.
I need to invite everyone in Kansai to Fukuoka💨.
Jay & Nobby Good evening ⭐︎
I still want to go back to Kyushu on a regular basis, as the familiar places in Kyushu are so exciting and a different experience than when I was a kid 💡.
The next offline meeting will be a long term one, lol.
Good evening, Mr. Yoohee! Thank you for staying with us until midnight 😄!
Thank you for staying with us until midnight...Hakata ramen after a full course of sake is the best by far 😆👍But it was your man who treated us to a meal..! 🤣
MAJ Good evening ⭐︎
No no no, it was my first night in Hakata that was so much fun ✨.
It was a day that made me feel like an adult 💡.
I stand corrected ❗️ I can't believe I got completely drunk and forgot who paid me 💧.
Kameji Kokaichi, made from 100% Kame-no-o, a fantastic rice
It has been a long time since I drank it.
The ginjo aroma does not interfere with the food.
However, that does not mean that it is not fragrant, but it complements the food!
What is it? I don't remember Kameji Kokaichi being such a good sake...
I don't remember it being this good...
I was thinking about how good Kameji Kohitsu sake is... as I was eating my small dish and thinking about the Koikawa Brewery's ability to make such a good sake.
The 31st brewery in the Hankyu Brewery Festival 2023.
Koigawa", Koigawa Sake Brewery, Yamagata Prefecture
Hirupeko had recommended a lukewarm Koikawa the day before, so I drank it even though I was at my limit 🤣.
This was the first time I drank lukewarm sake at a brewery festival, and I was surprised.
Koikawa Junmai Ginjyo Kameji Kokaichi (lukewarm)
Koikawa Junmai Daiginjo Beppin Yuki-No-Majin
Koikawa Junmai Gozen Junmai Daiginjo
Koikawa Junmai Ginjo Kamejikohi embodies the phrase, "Sake is pure rice, and it is even better when heated." Koikawa Junmai Ginjo Kamejikohi has a light mouthfeel with a firm flavor that will leave a lasting impression even on a drunken head.
Koikawa Junmai Daiginjo Beppin Yuki-No-Megami" is a sake that for some reason I drink every time, but my impression of Yuki-No-Megami is always dry and never contradicts my image of it.
This sake is brewed with both Kame-no-o, which is grown in Yamagata and Kagoshima prefectures.
Koikawa also has a nice label that leaves a lasting impression.
Good evening, Nemuchi-san. If your liver is at such a limit, you shouldn't have drunk 😵 I feel kind of sorry. I respect you for being able to comment even at your limit👍.
Hi Hirupeko, good evening 🌛I said I was at my limit, but I'm still drinking, so I'm fine 🤣I drank some lukewarm sake and felt a little awakened 👍I'm glad I did.
Kameji Kiujitsu Junmai Ginjo Special
Kameji Kiujitsu Junmai Ginjo Special
Sake degree +5
Total acidity 1.5
Amino acidity 0.9
Rice polishing ratio 55
Alcohol 17.6%.
A.bit dry with a solid grassy flavor. Paired well with Tenpura
Hard on the palate, with a sense of maturity, and an appetizing bitterness and sharpness
It has a dignified structure and sharpness even when heated.
It is a good sake that goes well with a meal, even if there are different tastes.
It was given to me, but I feel like I got hooked on this one because it was so good.
It was really refreshing to drink and mellow. It felt like it would melt away in an instant.
It's insanely delicious. I would buy this again if I see it again.
The picture is Guilty. It was a light nigori, cloudy...yet very refreshing.
The store recommended heating it up! It was a great match in terms of taste, so yes! Cod milt fritters...happiness.
