Next is the Wind Forest 😶.
This sake is a little bit out of the purpose of the meeting... but I'm an adult, so I didn't say it 😅.
It's a delicious sake ✨✨✨.
I was imagining gorgeous sweetness and aroma since it was your first time to try Aizan from Wind Forest... 😶.
Plus, I could taste a darker, almost bitter taste and this is... interesting 😳😳😳😳.
And it's a delicious drink ✨✨✨✨.
Nanadoro is the first sake brewing rice developed by Nara Prefecture. It is a derivative of Kaze no Mori's specialty, dewy leaf wind. It is brewed with ultra-hard water from the deep underground water of the Katsuragi mountain range.
I like all of Kaze no Mori, but this one may be my favorite.
Even after 4 days, the momentum of the opening pon does not stop. The sweetness comes voluptuously, but with a pleasant acidity. Perfect for hot summer.
My wife loves this one too.
Obtained at Furusato
It has a slight sourness like Kaze no Mori.
It has a nice sourness due to the koji derived from lactobacillus acidophilus, and the mineral taste is refreshing.
It is really refreshing to drink on a very hot day.
It seems to be good with refreshing seafood and vegetables.
I enjoyed it with scallop sashimi.
A drink that is so impressed with beer that it has stepped up to the beer! But it's still a solid alcoholic beverage! But it is beer-like! You have to try it to understand. The sweet-savory flavor of this sake is very interesting.
This is one of the last bottles from this year's Wadaya Hanpukai meeting. It has been a while since I drank a Kaze no Mori, but I remembered how impressed I was when I first drank it. As the temperature rises a bit, it becomes more flavorful.
I opened a bottle of Summer Night Sky under clear skies and heat that didn't seem like the rainy season.
In the opening caution ⚠️, the cork flew away vigorously 😅 although I thought I was being careful.
The aroma is slightly fresh, like pears.
The taste has a slightly carbonated gasiness, a hint of sweetness, umami, and then sourness, spreading out in order.
I think this acidity is unique to Bodai Hashiro.
The unique sourness, which I also felt when I drank the Bodai Hashiroshi of Sanmorosugi, makes me think that this sourness is a good match for summer.
It makes me want to drink it on a calm night while watching the moon.
Slightly gassy.
Aromas of muscat, a little lychee minerality, sweetness, and a moderate, gentle acidity.
Fresh, fruity and juicy.
Slight bitterness.
Easy to drink
Wadaya san hanpukai final month
A delicious, easy-drinking sake with a fruity aroma, melon-like sweetness, and a gassy bitter taste to finish.
We enjoyed it with beef fillet and zabuton steak with grain mustard.
