地下鉄の南海なんば駅から、なんば千日前通り商店街を抜けると、通称「ウラなんば」と呼ばれる、個人経営の小さな店を中心とした飲食店街が広がります。 サクッと飲んで次の店へ行く"ハシゴ酒"を楽しむ人が多いこのエリアで、ひときわコンパクトなのが「酒・兵吾」です。ハシゴ酒でウラなんばを一周して、また戻ってくるお客さんも多いという人気店。その魅力を探っていきましょう。 とってもコンパクトな立ち呑み屋 店の入口には、大きな提灯と「風の森」のタペストリーが掲げられています。​店内はスタンディングのカウンターのみで、8人も入れば満員。コンパクトな店ですが、開店の14時から続々とお客さんが来店します。 酒肴には強いこだわりがあるようで、店主やスタッフが試作を繰り返しながらメニューを作っています。 おすすめは、開店当初から提供しているという「鯛いりうにまぶし」(400円)。 パウダー状のウニを鯛にまぶしたシンプルな一品。さっぱりした鯛と濃厚なウニがどんな相性なのか、半信半疑にいただきましたが、思わず感心してしまいました。パウダー状のウニが、鯛の淡白な味わいを良く引き出してくれます。 ​続いては、人気の高い「焼きみそ」(400円)です。 鴨ミンチ・椎茸・クルミ・白ネギ・甘みそを秘伝の量で混ぜ込んでいます。注文を受けてからしゃもじに載せて焼き上げてくれるのがうれしいですね。濃厚なようでサッパリとしている不思議な味でした。これだけで、何杯も飲めてしまいそうです。 こちらの「いちじくバター」は女性に大人気。 さっぱりとした上品な甘味があるイチジクと、口当たりのなめらかなバターが絶妙のハーモニーを奏でます。 ​店主が惚れ込んだ「風の森」のみで勝負! こだわりの肴に合わせて提供される日本酒は、奈良県御所市の油長酒造が醸す「風の森」。2011年の開店当初から「風の森」しか置いていないというこだわりようです。年間、一升瓶で2,000本が空いてしまうのだとか。 生酒の良さを味わってほしいという思いから、開栓した日、もしくはその翌日に飲み切ることができるように、あまりたくさんの種類や量を置かないと決めているとのこと。今では、大阪で「風の森」が飲める店というと、真っ先に「酒・兵吾」の名前が出てくるほど、浸透しています。 ​蔵元が認めた!「風の森」への熱い思いSAKETIMES | 日本酒をもっと知りたくなるWEBメディア

-Kenji Murakami It has been a long time since I have had "Kaze no Mori". Up until a year ago, I lived in Izumisano, so it was easy to get some sake from Wakayama, but now it is not so easy. Only 657 after a long time, I was even impressed by its taste. It is the standard and the strongest of Kaze no Mori. It brings me a moment of bliss, and I am honestly happy. I want to drink it again.

It is slightly effervescent and has a very fruity and sweet taste in the mouth, but the aftertaste is refreshing and easy to drink. It has a good flavor, so although it is refreshing, it has a nice aroma and is not lacking! I think the taste will change after a few days after opening the bottle, but I don't know because I have already drank all of it.

It's been a while since I've been to Kaze no Mori. This is the first time for me to heat sake. I didn't have any special equipment. I warmed it up just as I saw fit. I put the cup in a pot of boiling water and heated it. It was probably about 35 degrees Celsius. There was a sticker on it that changed color. I took out the cup and sipped it. My image of heated sake is Aki Yashiro's Funauta. It was like, "If you drink it deeply, you will feel it deeply..." But I drank it without hesitation. The aroma is nice. The fruity flavor of Kaze no Mori is the same. Although I did not prepare it, I thought it would be good with grilled squid as a side dish. The flavor was very clean and spread nicely on the palate with no cloying taste. The aftertaste is also very refreshing. I thought it was very tasty! I also had it with cold sake. This is the usual Kaze no Mori. This is the first time for me to taste a kijoshu. I felt like there was a lingering aftertaste after drinking it.

Kansai Sake-no-wa Year-End Party 2024 ③. The order of what we drank is a bit of a jumble, but here is a list of the drinks and the people who brought them. Maru-san brought his own sake. Kaze no Mori ALPHA5: The Quest for Heated Sake 2024 They even brought a sake warmer and chirori to warm up the sake, as it is a Kaze no Mori for warming sake. The color is yellow, low in alcohol, but full-bodied, so it is very drinkable and matches well with warming up. Some say it's good even without heating, but that's just me... 🤣. Thank you for the food, Maru-san 🙏.

When drunk cold, it has a subdued Kaze no Mori feeling. The aroma is not as mellow and delicate as usual. Warmed up to lukewarm. Sourness and complexity, typical of the Bodhi yeast and Kaze no Mori's ALPHA series, come together at once! At the same time, it also has a freshness. The sweetness and umami, perhaps derived from kijo sake, is not too strong, but it is stronger than the original Kaze no Mori Akitsuho with a light aftertaste. Kaze no Mori is great for warming up! 5.0

Sake-no-wa Kansai Off-line Meeting A Year-End Party⑤. Next, Maru-san brought a bottle of sake perfect for the coming cold season 🍶. Kaze no Mori: The Quest for Heated Sake 2024 Maru-san even brought a sake warming vessel for this 😁. The aroma of warmed sake is like cemedine, the taste is soft and mild, and the aftertaste is lingering! As others have said, you can drink it lukewarm all the time! I'd like to drink it with oden (oden with soup stock) in the cold season! Thank you, Maru-san, for the warm sake 🙇. Thank you for the treat ✨

Past memorabilia (2) When my child went back home, I opened a bottle of Kaze no Mori's limited edition "ALPHA1 DRY", which is the only dry sake from Kaze no Mori, and its theme is "the key to the next chapter". As the theme suggests, the aroma and taste reminded me of the beginning of a new story spun by Kaze no Mori.

Sake-no-wa Kansai Branch A Year-End Party (3) The third bottle was a bottle of Kaze no Mori brought by Maru-chan! I predicted that "Maruchan = Shinsei, and when it comes to Shinsei, it's Maruchan" 😅. She heated it up with her own sake warmer 😁.

I had the day off today. I washed blankets and stuff in the morning. Cleaned up. Finally made beef stew. I drank, fell asleep and drank again 😅. Kaze no Mori Roha Kaze 807 Pon! The bottle was opened 😆. It's got gas and flavor. Delicious 😁. I think it will be a little bit more flavorful after a few days after opening. I left a little bit of it. It went reasonably well with beef stew 🤔. Well, I drank a lot of things from noon I opened it for dinner with beef stew, so it's a mystery. I opened the bottle to match the beef stew for dinner 🤣🤣.

Today is a long time since "Wind Forest" 🍶. Chose ALPHA1 based on your comments! It's not too sweet and refreshing 😀. It's been a while since I've had this feeling, and I feel again the wide range of sake 🍶. It's full of refreshing feeling that doesn't interfere with food and seems to go with everything 😕. It was a sake that can be enjoyed not only as a food sake, but also on its own 😍. My favorite degree is ★★★★☆
