Koshitanrei is a cross between Yamadanishiki and Gohyakumangoku rice.
My preference is for Gohyakumangoku, but I like both, so I was surprised to find a sake made with such an innovative rice!
I was so excited to be able to buy a bottle of this sake!
Juicy melon, peach and papaya aroma 🥹.
The taste of rice is mild on the palate, but it is instantly broken by the acidity and bitterness. The aftertaste is refreshing and clean!
I hear that Niigata's sake is often light, but I didn't know that was the case! I thought so!
It is aromatic, yet light and refreshing.
It is different from the local sake from Fukui Prefecture and tastes great 😋😋😋😋😋😋.

It's spring, so I bought some muskagami that were lined up at Kadoya. When I saw them lined up in the store, I thought, "This is definitely a good one.
The moment I drank it, I felt a shwashy sensation.
The alcohol after the sourness, delicious!
I had never had much unfiltered wine, but it's delicious!
I had it with saki ika🦑 and cheese🧀!
The alcohol content is 19%, so don't drink it in small gulps.
It had been a year since I registered at Sake-no-wa! (It's been a year since I registered 💦) I'm looking forward to drinking more sake with friends and family 🍶.

The spoils of war of Niigata Sake no Jin 2023.
F40: meaning 40% regular sake rice polishing ratio; Shizuku: a limited edition of the Maskagami alphabet line, squeezed from the sake bag under its own weight only. I found out later that it was limited to the venue and in limited quantities.
I learned this information later. I was in line as soon as the doors opened, so I kind of stood in line and was able to buy it. I feel sorry, so I am studying.
Just by opening the lid, you can smell the ginjo aroma. I guess it is close to pear.
If it is just a sensation on the tongue, it is slightly sweet, moderately sour, and umami.
Anyway, the aroma is strong. It is fresh. This is amazing.
